Tied Up
It took a moment for Kyo to realize that the beeping didn’t come from his alarm clock but in fact from his mobile phone that was set on the bedside table as well. Groaning displeased he reached for it, flipping it open without even checking who was calling. What would it matter, anyway, he was already awake in any case. He wasn’t the happiest person right after waking up, but when he recognized the voice of the lead guitarist of his band in the other end of the line, his eyes flew wide in an instant. “Morning, Kyo.”
Somehow Kaoru’s voice sounded a little bit strained, but Kyo barely even noticed it as he was so surprised to gain such a random early morning call. “What the hell, Kaoru? What is it? Couldn’t it have waited a couple of hours? We’re meeting at the studio already in - ” a quick glance at the clock confirmed that he had indeed seen correctly the first time, “less than two hours.”
There was a low cough at the other end of the line, something everyone recognized as Kaoru’s I-am-trying-to-pretend-I-am-all-business -tone. There might’ve been even a slight hint of impatience, if the vocalist was reading it correctly but that could be a misinterpretation as well so he didn’t dwell a lot on it. ”I’m a little tied up.” Kaoru’s gruff voice confessed. “Something unexpected came up. We’ll have to cancel today.”
Now he had Kyo’s full attention and the small man straightened on the bed, sitting up properly, the blanket pooling around his waist. “Cancel? Are you alright, Kaoru?” He didn’t remember them cancelling studio hours more than a handful of times during this past ten years they’d been working together so there had to be a reason worth hearing. Nothing came of it, though, there was only a deep silence on the line and it dragged on and on and on until Kyo spoke up again. “Kaoru?”
“Yeah yeah I’m fine,” the answer came fast, spoken hurriedly so it sounded as if Kaoru was holding his breath while speaking and had to hurry to get the words out. That was curious, more than that, but Kyo knew better than to ask since he wouldn’t have received an answer anyway. So he waited for the continuation that came eventually. “It’s just… Die thinks I should stay in bed today.” The explanation came almost sheepishly, a little embarrassed laugh following them.
“Is it still the cold?” Kyo asked casually, although inwardly his thoughts were racing and he could’ve sworn it wasn’t about the cold Kaoru had been coming down with for ages already. Not about anything like that. Already at the mention of Die he could paint a dozen different scenarios and couldn’t help but to grin at the thought of the younger of the guitarists forcing the older one to something. He was the only one who could do it to begin with. Anyone else who tried to make Kaoru do something against his will could as well kiss his ass goodbye.
“Yeah,” The single word was spoken hurriedly. “I just need one day in bed and it’s good. See you tomorrow, Kyo. Oh, could you possibly - ” This time the sentence was cut off by a low gasp and the sound of Kaoru clearing his throat, a sharp intake of breath starting the next part. “…possibly call Shinya and Toshiya and let them know?”
By this time, Kyo had a pretty good guess of what was going on. Laughing, he nodded although he knew the other man of course couldn’t see the gesture. “Sure, Kao. No problem at all.” The following groan was clearly relieved and Kaoru muttered out a quick thank you before ending the call with goodbye. Kyo didn’t even try to hold back the gigglesnort that escaped him, the hilariousness of the whole situation striking at once. Before he had the time to pull the phone further from his ear he could still hear lowly snarled words from the other end, obviously not aimed at him. “Alright, are you happy now?”
Shaking his head Kyo grinned, hanging up finally to figure out what to do with the sudden free day.
“Alright, are you happy now?” Kaoru snarled lowly, trying to glare accusingly at the younger guitarist, who was grinning at him in turn as he pulled the phone back and discarded it to the side. He had been holding the phone to Kaoru’s ear, seeing that the other man’s hands were… otherwise occupied. Kaoru’s arms were stretched above his head, his wrists attached to the bedhead and his ankles were tied to the bedposts at the other end. Once again he cursed the fact that he was such a heavy sleeper, as this wasn’t the first time that Die had managed to surprise him.
The man in question was grinning like he’d won the lottery, though, and almost absent-mindedly ran his palm down Kaoru’s thigh in a teasing gesture. “No, not quite yet. That was a step to the right direction… but I’ll be much happier once I first torture the hell out of you and then,” Die shifted closer until his lips were touching Kaoru’s, his voice such a low rumble that Kaoru could’ve sworn it was impossible for the younger man to sound like that, “I’ll ride you until you scream.”
The words made a clear shudder go through Kaoru’s spine and he couldn’t help but to groan, squeezing his eyes shut as if it’d help at all. “Y-you fucking tease…” He hissed out through clenched teeth, knowing that he had lost already. His heart was beating like a drum in his chest, his whole body yearning for more of the touches, kisses, closeness, anything and everything. When he opened his eyes again and looked straight at Die, he could see a burning flame hidden within them. He was certain that was mirrored in his own eyes.
“C’mon then,” Kaoru urged in a challenging tone, not even blinking as he gazed straight at Die, tugging a bit on his bonds. “Get your lips back around my dick.”
This would be a long day. In all the best ways.
