Reflections I love Girraween. I love the bush. The trees, the rocks, the wild creatures, the wild plants… it’s all so beautiful. Like being in a cathedral. I hope I get to go back. And I hope that I have good times there. I’ll have to find a cabin or something, where I can sleep in a real bed. As much as I enjoyed camping my body just wouldn’t handle the camp bed situation any more.
It’s not exotic, it’s not far away, it’s not filled with great works of art - but it is full of wonders. If you’d like to see some of the
exotic places,
great scenery, fabulous
architecture and
engineering that are on my wishlist of places to see, check out my pinterest
boards. If you’d like a pinterest invite let me know!
My stepson is getting married right now. I wasn’t invited because I haven’t had a big part in his life. I suppose that’s actually true. Because if I had he’d know how wrong it is to not invite someone his father wanted to bring, and his step-sister, and nieces and nephew - and the nephew is his godson! I’ve actually been his step-mother for more than half of his life. I showed Abigail a photo of Grumps all dressed up, and she said “are we not invited”. I told her no. She said “is Uncle Ashley only allowed to invite one person?”
(apologies to my friend, but I had to.)
