Coming to you now from our late night London broadcast(it is after midnight and everyone else has gone to bed. I shall retire to my couch in a moment).

This is city is WONDERFUL. I love visiting exciting new places with utterly delightful people. The trip here was... interesting, involving an unplanned night stayover in Chicago, no shuttles, no airline hotel rooms, six am london arrivals and me becoming speedily good at two person spades (I always manage to make friends on plane rides). Then I was almost vanquished by the British Payphones and had visions of being Lost Forever in Paddington Station (and me without my marmalade). But all so completely worth it. Big cities just feel so delightful and I rather adore the Tube. Of course by the end of yesterday I was semi-delirious from lack of sleep, but still such a lovely lovely day. And today was just shiney, gallivanting about town and the British Museum (Rosetta Stone! YAY~) with raayat and then the Agatha Christie play The Mousetrap with fox_c in the sweetest little theater. My feet are exhausted but the rest of me keeps lying and promising it can do MORE. I'm having the devil's own time prioritizing what I want to see, so have been winging it to a near appalling extent. I'm certainly going to have to come back with more time, but then again I have always intended to.

Tomorrow is the Tate Modern(my one true MUST) and possibly the Tower of London with an old school chum who happens to be studying abroad here (huzzah~) and then Thursday it is off to Amsterdam to muck about with Eldaradan, that is if I can get a hold of him and tell him where to meet me. CALL ME! OR send e-mail!
