I'm still wicked tired...
Been playing Animal Crossing on gamecube for like 4 hours. OMG that game is so addicting.
Dick, Loki and I went to Atlanta last Monday I believe to go see Streetlight Manifesto, only to find out when we got to Masquerade's door that the show had been cancelled due to their stuff being stolen in Florida (damn Floridians!). On the spot, Dick decided "Hey, let's go to their show in New Jersey!". Loki thought he was kidding, but I knew better. So after hanging around the Masquerade and meeting an intern who worked for ADULT SWIM (no, i'm not lying...we really did) we headed back to the Motel 6 and thus began to prepare for Jersey. We did stop by home for a day to gather more clothes and stuff and on Thursday we headed to Jersey. Since Kevin Smith shot a ton of his movies in Jersey, we had to go to Redbank. We went to Jay and Bob's Secret Stash and the infamous Quikstop from Clerks. I'll post pictures once I get them from Loki. We hadn't slept for 24 hours so we decided to find a place to crash and we did. A Motor Lodge. Ewwww. But the stay there was quite the interesting, if I do say so. Including the naming of Dick and I - Rabbit Ninjas. muahahahaha.
Anywho, the following day we went to one of Loki's old hometowns and met a few of his friends then headed back to Sayreville for the show. The show was Fucking Awesome; Awful Waffle, (Super)Specs,Whole Wheat Bread and Streetlight put on an AMAZING show. The first two bands that played before the listed bands were emo and ended up getting hated on so bad. We felt really bad for them. The best part was when we got to meet WholeWheat, a few members of Awful Waffle and the Specs AND STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO! Oh yea!! The entire band signed Dick's jacket and Loki's Mannequin head that someone gave him. Streetlight has Dick's phone number and they might call when they come back through Charlotte to see about their band playing with them or possibly Dick playing Point-Counterpoint. We won't know till they call.
The Entire Trip was so motherfucking AWESOME! Holy cow, it was great. A BAJILLION Tons of laughs were had and an infinite amount of happiness was just everywhere. New Jersey Traffic by far sucks so bad, but other than that, Jersey Rocks.
Oh, and be prepared for a Zombie Attack.
