Just a quick howdie doodie...
Tomorrow sees us meeting the year 1's.
I popped in today to have a quick chat with JC (our technician) and we waxed myrical for a wee while about Hendrix, gigs, new sound and lighting equipment and the poor male to female ratio in the year ones (3:30...shocking).
Emma, Mike, Paul and I are going to unleash a weird Shooting Stars/Whose Line Is It Anyway hybrid on them, finishing with a game of Follow the Leader which leads to the union bar. Can't go wrong really!
Bit concerned about some fellas living across the street from us.
They're a bit rough and intimidating, and one of them has knocked on our door for a couple of days now asking for things like milk or if some asian guy lives here.
I know it sounds silly, but I'm concerned.
I'm only little old me in the house for most of the day, and they're big and out number me by a fair amount.
I told my landlady, and it turns out that their neighbour (her friend) is worried too, so at least someone knows that we're feeling a bit unsettled.
Pub quiz tonight...Oh boy, I'm such a student.
By the way, if you fancy a trip down someone else's memory lane, I recommend 'Spies' by Michael Frayn. I'm reading it for the English Literature part of the course, and it's a good read!
