My New Room...

...RULES!

But let us start at the beginning.

Got up, headed straight to the bus station only to be met by a mass of Leeds fans.
Oh yes, there is a big rugby match in Cardiff today isn't there?

I'm used to the hustle and bustle that comes with match days in my adopted city now, so I just put my ear phones in and disappeared behind a copy of Empire.

Emma Thayer popped over with her Mum to help me move my (and Neil's) stuff downstairs and out of her room.
I love Emma. She always tells me I look lush even when I'm fully aware that I smell and look like what I smell like. We collapsed in the living room after moving everything and I told her all about recent events. The girl is a sweetheart. Sadly she had to leave but that left me to unpack (finally) and put everything in its rightful place.

I would just like to say, my bedroom rocks socks.

There's a random wee shelf just as you walk into the room, on which I've placed a scented candle, a pack of cards and a selection of favourite books. Under that on the floor is the rest of my book collection, and next to that is my desk. My wardrobe is made of cloth which is nifty. My fireplace is now home to my stereo, glass chess set, a few choice comic books, Lenore Doll, Hello Kitty bell, Mount Fuji picture holder and glass sphere with a fairy in it. Just above the fireplace is another wee shelf thing, on which I've placed my crystal ball, two big candles, the Theatre Masque, and a How To Catch Fairies book.
The chest of draws holds all of my folders and papaerwork (yet to be sorted) on top, including a wee wooden chest that holds a load of marzipan sweets that Jonny sent. LOADS of room on the floor, at least until I buy my new bed, but it's great!!!!

Oh and a poster of Emma Frost above the fireplace. Woot. Becky Geeky and proud.

I can't wait to settle it properly in mid-september.
