(no subject)
I am now the proud (?) owner of a sailor hat. Headed into town today to pick up a few bits and pieces for tomorrow night, Laura is having a nautical themed night out for her birthday.
Being a pirate would be a bit cliched, and it's far too cold to be a mermaid. Going to the pub dressed as a whale would just be a bit too strange I think... I was considering being a dancing monkey with a fez, they're vaguely nautical aren't they?!
So instead I'll be a sailor girl, consisting mostly of said hat, stripey top, lots of jewellery and possibly braces. I need to make things with anchors on if I can be bothered, and perhaps fake tattoos, but I'm not quite sure how that will work, having only thought of it since I got home and not having bought any. Possibly liquid eyeliner?
Forgot how hectic it would be with sales and things, and waterstones are crap, failing to find me my ecology book, so I can't do any work! And have £100 of books tokens which are more or less useless seeing as no actual physical bookshops stock relevant books, and they don't work online. Bah!
