The Sound of Muzak...
Man, I've gotten addicted to Porcupine Tree as of late. Seriously, they are the best/my favorite band I've ever come in contact with at this moment in time, it's scary.
And whats been freaking me out late at night? The lyrics to their songs on one of their albums, In Absentia. It's got alot of beautiful sounding songs, some heavy songs, an instrumental, and some very soft songs. But the lyrics....there is a running theme in the album about the songs being inspired/focused on rapists/serial killers/psychopaths. So some of my favorite and liked song are now...really creepy. Eek!
Definitely check them out, they are the most amazing Progressive Rock band I've ever heard, and my favorite band as of right now.
