has anyone registered for the GRE?!?
PLZ tell me you haven't and that you're as in denial about grad school as I am. I think I won't bother until at least early january. when do grad schools have deadlines anyway?
[registering for the SAT part deux is much more appealling than job hunting, frankly, mostly because I can't really grasp the notion of not being a student for the rest of my life. and HELL NAW im not taking a course. what a shitshow, the GRE's i mean. wretched people.]
other than imminent GRADUATING that is hanging over my head [not even that imminent, but im a Big Baby] schoolwork is GREAT!! it's like finally all these years of work are culminating into this one fantastic senior courseload [barring Psych. Gened aaaaaaaaaaaaah] that's almost wholly interconnected [environment, development, development in arab world, arab world] and mind-broadening and all that great stuff. everything this semester is about Egypt, too, even tweaking it down to the point where I begged [more like coerced] my advisor/prof to let me skip out on a project in order to research Garbage City. This semester it's all about microenterprise and sustainability in the GC, development among Sudanese and/or Coptic populations, and maybe a little Muslim Brotherhood thrown in, if I'm feeling daring. it just feels really Good to have my cause and a commitment to it and have a working knowledge of it. I LOVE SKEWL. NOT THE GRE.
