In Soviet Russia, Friendspage reads YOU!!

I have been sick as a dog (which is to say, really fantastically unpleasantly ill) since Saturday morning: reasonably high fever+sore throat+cough+junk in my lungs+nausea=BLEH. The high point of the fever bit being a couple of days ago, when I apparently told my mum that the loaf of bread sitting on the counter looked like a cat.
-Saturday night: Metric @ the Kool Haus. Went despite feeling like the walking dead because my favouritest cousin came to town for it. I could tell vaguely from somewhere inside my shell of confused pain that it was a good concert, especially since Diamonds, who is clearly the coolest person EVER, was in one of the opening bands, but it was still the only Metric concert I've ever not enjoyed, because I just felt so staggeringly shitty. I jumped up and down anyways, but that was a mistake, because it made me feel MORE shitty. And basically hardly talked to my poor cousin the whole time she was here because I did not have a voice...oh well, I shall see her in SUNNY FLORIDA in a little over a week!

-Sunday morning: temperature went up to 102, not roasting but not shabby, and stayed there till yesterday. Wrote most of a law essay on the Russian Mafia in delirious and druggy state. All I really remember is the cat-bread incident.

March Break next week! I can't wait.
