“If we got married, I would want an open relationship.” Euphoria states. “I am not sure I could ever be happy with just one person.”

“That sounds like the morals of a peasant who works in the field.” Bedlam tells her.

“Not just the peasants, my dear, a good portion of the noble population would agree with me.” Euphoria laughs. “I think you might happen to be just a bit too old fashioned.”

“I wish that we could find more of a common ground, Bedlam.” Aster sighs. “We could reach that friend zone well together, I am sure of that. I just don’t feel the romance.”

“I don’t either.” Bedlam levels with her honestly. “I do enjoy your sense of humor, but I feel ridiculous when I have to throw myself into your arms.”

“It’s fine if you throw yourself into my arms.” Aster chuckles. “I promise, not to catch you.”

“I am glad for this.” Caraway remarks. “I have been hoping for some time to get to talk to you.”

“Great.” Bedlam smiles at her. “What would you like to talk about?”

“I want lots of kids when I get married. I always wanted a big family.” She tells him.

“I don’t have a problem, with having children.” Bedlam tells her. “It will be exciting to watch them grow and learn new things.”

“Good!” Caraway states happily, then tries to concentrate on the chess match.

“You have been very quiet the last few days. I hope you don’t feel like a prisoner here.” Bedlam tells the shy pretty young woman.

“It’s not that.” Silver tells him. “It’s just with all the girls fighting for your attention, I feel as if I am on a battlefield.”

“Have any of the girls been mean to you?” Bedlam asks her sincerely.

“Not at all!” Silver gasps her denial. “Just the opposite in fact. We all get along so well. I very much want to win your affection and yet whoever doesn’t win your hand in marriage will get hurt.”

“… And you don’t want the other girls to get hurt.” Bedlam supplied.

“I don’t, but at the same time, I want to win the battle!” Silver tells him.

Bedlam chuckles a little.

“Are you enjoying your stay here Dignity?” Bedlam asks the plain young woman sitting across from him.

“I am.” She says sincerely. “I have been having a great time reading. I have learned a bit about cooking and cleaning. I have even learned to fix things up a bit.”

“Did you study anything today?” He asks her.

Dignity blushes terribly. “Yes.”

“What did you study?” He asks her curious of her blush.

“Babies.” She whispers turning redder.

“Oh.” Bedlam says turning a bit rosy in the face.

“Chess.” Dignity says.

“Right, chess.” Bedlam agrees to change the subject.

“Well Ladies, another night is over.” Bedlam tells them.

“Tomorrow one of us will be sent home.” Dignity reminds the table.

“Will that be before or after you torture us?” Aster asks raising an slim eyebrow.

“After.” Bedlam tells her. “You are welcome to retaliate.”

“Oh, I intend to.” Aster grins slyly.
