Advice to a guy on SCN who has just been told: "Let's be friends."

I know you like her, but the advice others have given is right. This is not a healthy situation unless you like being "just friends."
Tell her you like her and want to be more than friends. Tell her you can't be near her and not want her. If she can't go out with you, you will have to stay apart so your heart doesn't get broken.
Maybe she will change her mind. Maybe not. But you should do just what you say and stay away if she doesn't want to go out with you.
