(no subject)
I'm happy to say that summer camp is over at the boys and girls club!!! Yay...well, only sorta yay, cuz now they don't need me in the school age program. Starting Monday I am training to be the front desk lady for the B&G club, which might not be good cuz I don't know how to type, yes I type with two fingers, and I am pretty fast, but still!! And I will also be working with the teens. I had to work at the teen center last friday night, and I was super nervous! UGH, I don't know how to deal with teenagers! Much less the troubled ones...but anyhoo...I worked until midnight (when the place closes) and it wasn't too bad. I spent some time chatting with a 13 year old who wants to drop out of school, and I played ping pong with an autistic guy for an hour. I got double time for working after hours :~)
Last Tuesday Krissy Walker came to my house again . She was driving from one of the Carolina's back to Cali...by herself!! But she stayed with us for a night, which was fun! We went to dinner and just hung out at the house. Good times...and she was driving her boyfirend's car, which is a nice car!! Lucky chick... anyhoo, HI KRISSY!
So, I am coming home soon, and I'm stoked! There's gunna be a bonfire, and when I find out details I'll post 'em for ya'll!! Cali will be a nice break from this sucky Arkansas weather. Today it was 105 at like 11:30am, so it's still getting hotter. AC is my best friend!! Oh, when I'm home I want to go to the 20something group...so Amy, Jenn, and Tisha, I'll be seeing you at church!
