I did it!
So, today I ran the 5K!! It's 3.2 miles, and until yesterday I couldn't even run 1 mile w/o stopping. My friend, Leslie, and I ran the first two miles, walked the .2, and ran the last mile. I was DEAD when we finished!! But I am super proud of myself, and we have agreed to run more races together. Woot!
Unfortunetly we did get passed up by some 10 year olds They were freaking quick! We tried to pass them, but they finished like 15 seconds before us. Our time was 34.25 minutes
I did such a good job, I treated Barrett and I to lunch...yay for eating out!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!
