Well...just giving an update for ya'll...
Work is going well...pretty well! I know all the kids names, all 45 of them. Things are running smoothly, I go to the pool with them twice a week cuz I am one of the few counselors who know how to swim!! Is that crazy or what?!? It's hard to believe how many people out here don't know how to swim!! It's sorta irritating, but anyhoo. One of the downsides to my job is that we go outside for 2 hours everyday, and it's crazy hot. For example, last week the average temp was between 95-100, with about 80% humidity!!! GROSS!! I am a sweaty monster :~) BUT I get to teach dance next week! WOOT!!
Barrett and I are doing great, despite our lack of other friends! We go to a great church every sunday, and plan to join a Bible study, and when we do we will meet people! Yay for friends! Barrett and I watch a lot of movies, and I go for a lot of walks. I have also taken up reading, so if you know any good...clean...books, let me know!! I am trying to get my smarts since I am not able to go to school yet. I am currently reading a bunch of Mark Twain books cuz I had them already.
Our kitty is just too cute :~) I got him a trendy little carrying case/cage!!And took him to the vet today for his last shots and everyone was all crazy for him!! Things here are wonderful and great, just a bit slow...but it is the south!! I miss all my Cali friends so much!! *^*kiss-kiss*^*
Don't forget that Father's Day is this Sunday...so go buy that card!! Peace
