I almost fainted at Aljunied station today.

I was on my way to school when I felt nauseas at Paya Lebar, so I alighted and took a seat at Aljunied platform. By then, my stomach was in pain and I was breaking out in cold sweat. I couldn't have gone to school with my condition so I went to tap out from the station. My legs were already wobbly and vision, blurred.

I took a rest by the steps and sort of crouched on my side with my bag as a pillow. Wah... That was when I almost lost conscious. Everything all went blank with all my senses blocked until an aunty approached me and started calling me a few times. She helped apply medicated oil on my temples and did some pressing onto them as well as onto my nose. Another lady approached and they both helped me up and into the station as we were all out in the sun, and I sat by the wall. My feet, body and fingers all went numb and I really, really was breathing heavily.

The staff came and helped me onto the wheelchair and a lady from before went with me into their staff room. She asked if I'm diabetic as it was one of the symptoms. She also said that it's cause I've yet to have my brunch and that my blood level is really low as she saw that my whole face was pale when I was by the steps alone.

The staffs gave me a can of coke to boost my sugar level and I was given a banana. While waiting for my brother, the lady stayed behind the whole while and we talked. She told me about her medical history and life when she was my age. I really admire those who work and study at the same time, and for being able to withstand through all hardships.

I'm really grateful to these 2 ladies who helped me.
