New fandom - whoops!

So I just discovered that there is All Time Low fanfic. And a community. And Alex and Jack are made for each other.
Seriously. No I don't feel guilty. xD
Anyway, since I don't feel like sleeping I am going to post fics now until I crash. Number one!

Title: Just the Way I'm Not
Fandom: All Time Low RPS
Pairing: Alex/Jack
Rating: PG-13, PG-15-ish. Still a little bit naughty. :P
Disclaimer: I AM SORRY GUISE. I didn't mean to write stories about you, it just happened.

It was on stage. It always started on stage, somehow, the excitement, adrenalin of performing needing an outlet.
They were halfway done with the set list and Alex was sweating. No wonder, they just finished the song Coffee Shop Soundtrack and Alex likes to let loose during it. Jack doesn´t know why, doesn´t know the full backstory of the song. All he knows is that Alex is looking damn fine dancing around like that.
Usually by now Alex will have played with him a little, snuggle up to him for a few (glorious) seconds, run his hands somewhere over his body and Jack is missing it.
He can’t think about it for too long, though, because they have to start the next song and Alex isn’t feeling very talkative today.
‘Can I pick you up for another night on the north shore…’ Alex starts, and is Jack imagining it or is Alex looking at him?
‘When it hurts, it hurts. You wonder if it’s worth it.’ Yes, definitely looking at him. And moving towards him, too, but Jack doesn’t know why. He’s not sure if he likes it that Alex is basically singing it to him.
‘Never seem to please you, no.’
That’s bullshit. Jack forgets to focus on his playing (but to be honest, he can play most of these songs in his sleep, especially because they are nearly at the end of their tour and he sometimes has had to be able to do exactly that) and thinks back to the times he and Alex hooked up.
Actually, he was drunk all the time, he liked to drink after shows. Alex usually was mostly sober. They would fuck like rabbits when they came home and the next morning Jack would shoo Alex out of bed, try not to talk too much for the entire day (what, he always has a hangover) and stay in his room.
Maybe that was what’s bothering Alex.
‘We break apart the moment we both feel too much.’ Alex managed to get next to him in the time it took him to sing the next lines and damn it, it makes Jack jump a little. Especially because he is now hard thanks to the memories of the nights they shared.
He never wants them to end but he’s always so afraid to tell anyone about it. He likes feeling Alex, warm and soft, against him when he is just waking up. The sloppy kisses when they have hit the alcohol a bit too hard and remember that they can always fall back on each other. No one needs to tell them the dangers of booty calls with strangers, not now they’re famous.
‘When it works it works. And when it’s broke it’s perfect.’
Alex has slung an arm over Jack’s shoulder and almost melts into his side. Jack looks once at the singer and has to keep himself from kissing him - if only because it would ruin the song. Alex’ eyes are closed, hair mussed from performing and it ranks high on Jack’s list of when Alex is sexiest.
Number one is right after sex, of course.
‘Don’t you ever let me go.’
Alex has apparently had enough of hanging out with Jack and moves back to the microphone stand. Jack would follow him if he didn’t have something to sing in a bit - but then again, if he followed Alex he might just kiss him senseless in front of the entire audience…
And where did that thought just come from?
No, he should really focus back on the song he is playing; forget all about Alex until they are both wasted enough again. When neither can remember what boundaries are good for again, what second thoughts are. When all they want is each other.
When it’s all simple.
Alex has secured the mike to the stand again and leans forward, hair covering his eyes. Jack pointedly looks away.
‘Opposites distract, we fall between the cracks, forget about each other ‘till we get each other back.’
Is there some time for a break seriously Jack wants to kiss that sad expression from Alex’ face. Damn, he wasn’t gonna look anymore.
Looking at his guitar isn’t working so he should find something else to focus on, before he moves towards Alex like he’s a magnet.
Well, too late.
‘Never seem to please you know, don’t you ever let me go, I know your heart is shut…’ Alex waits one second, makes the mistake of looking to his right and is confronted with Jack standing a bit closer than expected.
He misses his cue, Jack lets go of his guitar and winds one hand in Alex’ hair, the other one grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulls him in for a kiss.
At that point, Rian and Zack just change the song completely because they know it’s not going to end soon. It has happened before, they hook up all the time and afterwards pretend there is nothing going on. It sometimes happens on stage, they’ve learned to work with it.
Alex wraps his arms around Jack, pulls him close and shows no intention of letting go. Jack doesn’t mind. He should’ve done this a long time ago.
Finally, Rian does come up to them, almost physically shoves them apart, and whispers: ‘We have a show to put on, guys, and it’s not rated NC-17. Can you wait a little longer?’
Jack looks at Alex, who has a dazed expression on his face. He can’t help but smile about it.
‘Sure.’
He kisses Alex one last time, then returns to his place on the stage. His lips feel swollen and he can’t resist biting down on the bottom lip. The audience is screaming for more and Alex is not going to play with it - for once, he is probably still on cloud nine - so Jack takes it upon himself.
‘Just a little something for all you fic writers out there,’ he says into the mike, with a wink. The screaming almost deafens him. ‘And just so you know, once we go backstage we’ll do many things that you have not even thought of yet.’
He knows they would take that as a challenge. He didn’t care. Maybe they could get some ideas from the writers.
For now, they would have enough to do after the show. Having sober sex would be different enough, and Jack couldn’t wait. He wanted to remember each and every single detail.
He starts the intro for Time Bomb, smiles at Alex and lets the music flow through him. Life is good.

fics, not-so-innocent, romance, alex/jack, rps, fanfiction, oh my god new stuff, all time low
