Ok, so, got to the wedding just fine, was lovely, and at that point I gained someone to talk to, which was nice to have. So, left the Sparkman's the next day, so I could actually see more of Seattle than Just hotel, denny's (same one twice) and a 7-11. Leti's friend Jess gave me a ride to the one ferry, which was a very scenic ride and MUCH cheaper than any alternative. Seattle meets with my approval, it is very walkable, even lugging two carryon bags, to me it seems to have more of the crazies out (LaRoucheites, and people holding up some radical some wing papers all over the place) than Philly, but then again I generally see philly at night.
I have now added Vietnamese to food types I have tried, had some spring rolls and a bowl of Pho (no, I know the last character is wrong, but not gonna hunt for the right one) and from what I got as regular, I wanna know how big a large is. It was good, managed to survive the cilantro, but still, can't go wrong with noodles. Sadly, since then my eating has been pretty much exotic fast foods not seen in the East. So, pretty much Seattle region stays on my list of places I wouldn't mind living.
HOWEVER.
Apparently, Washington state does not want me to communicate with the outside world, which is why I am sitting in the lobby of the Hojo I'm saying at. which is the ONLY place I seem to be able to get wifi (ok, so when I was out in P.A. it had more to do with not wanting to bug the busy panicking people for a wifi key, but still) neither hotel room I have stayed in has had a strong signal, and hell, couldn't connect to a cell signal when I was in P.A. unless I was in town.
So, altogether, nice trip, just have had a touch of boredom/cut off from the world crazy the last few days.
