Things I learned about tanking tonight.

Thanks to the wonderful people we picked up for a pug of Underbog tonight, I realized that I need to learn how to tank right as I did not know the following:

That my swipe has a much larger range and hits more than 3 mobs, also it doesn't take any rage to use.

That rather than me faerie firing something, then smacking on the mobs abit to get some base hate on everything and then everyone starting to dps, all the dpsers must choose different targets and start wailing on them as soon as, or even before I take my first swing at a mob.

Also, that rather than ME FF pulling, the littler druid should instead pull and then run as far away from me as he can.

I can generate rage out of thin air when the rest of the group has peeled everything away from me before I got a chance to hit anything.

And when the little druid goes to pull everything away from me, he should not be expected to warn anyone, especially when he is assuming I'll hibernate another of the mobs in the group.

I am responsible for the wipe when Leeroy Druid decided to hibernate the one mob right as a larger patrolling group came upon the stationary group he was pulling.

As long as you blame the tank quickly enough it can never be your fault something went wrong.

And the most important lesson

Leave Party and Teleport Moonglade is a nice combination. Shame I didn't think to wait until they pulled.
