002- (action post)

[Raz is currently standing in the middle of the street, facing his 'house'. He's in a really weird pose- his left hand is up against the side of his head, and his right arm is extended out in front of him. He's staring really hard at the mailbox for whatever reason. So hard, that he might not notice you unless you speak up.]

[Ahiru notices him and stands near him, staring curiously at the mailbox. Clearly there was something interesting about it if he was staring at it like that, right?

After a long silence, she finally speaks up.]

Is there something wrong with it?

[Matter of factly and without taking his eyes off the mailbox]

It won't open.

[She looks at it in surprise.]

R-really? So it's stuck?

[ra_ra_razputin]

No, I just can't get it open with my powers.

Oh, is that al...

P-powers? You have powers?

Psychic powers! [Definitely maybe trying to look cool here]

[whatthequack]

Wooooah! [She looks impressed.]

So you can... ummm... W-what do those do again?

[Oh, now you've gone and gotten him started]

Having psychic powers lets you do things with your mind! I can levitate, turn invisible and even set things on fire just by thinking about them!

...Or at least I should be able to do those things. I can't even get the mailbox open right now!

Oh wow! That must be really hard to do, though!

Huh... Well, the drone people seem like they can take away things they really shouldn't be able to take away. Maybe that's what happened.

All it takes is a little practice! At least, that's all it took for me.

And I don't buy that! You can't just take away something that's inside someone's head!

Really? So if I practiced maybe I could do it, too?

Yeah, but they've taken away a lot of things that don't make any sense... This place is really weird!

Uh... I dunno! I've always had my powers. I've never really thought about that before!

Yeah, but, taking away someone's psychic powers is like taking away their ability to see! You just can't do it!
