Life Today
When I last wrote, Chris and I were getting ready to move to Northwest Arkansas...A lot of life has happened since then. We had a baby, started a business, started another business, got married, had another baby, got a degree in psychology, quit talking to my mom, and moved to Austin, TX.
I'll spare you the details for now. I'll save the stories for writing material. Because, yes, I have decided to pursue a career in writing. More specifically, screenwriting. I've always had a passion for and fascination with film and television. I'm a stay-at-home mom with nothing to do, so...why not?! *what the hell shrug*
I love creative writing, and I've always been pretty good at it. I like to think of myself as a Jane of all trades, and I'm ready to make some money of one of my semi-talents. So, I have decided to master the skill of writing. Mainly, screenwriting. I'm currently taking Judd Apatow's MasterClass course, and I am LOVING it! I plan on taking many more courses from Steve Martin, Aaron Sorkin, Martin Scorsese!! No need for more student loan debt. Why not learn from the masters themselves, right?
