(no subject)
ok i'm soo gonna try to remember the whole weekend and write it here... goodness this is going to be hard
so when we got to the church we were hanging out how we always do before retreats... it was same ol stuff... peter and some of the other guys wanted us to go on the black bus with them... me and alexis said no becuase we had already told the girls we'd go with them... even though i really told peter i would go with him first... whoops... yeah
so the bus ride there we watched zorro... the first one... and it took me and alexis like half the movie to figure out it was antonio banderez ... yeah we're smart... so that was cool... after the movie i went like to the back and hung out with paige, sonia, dana and nate... and all of them basically... so all that was fun...and we finally got there
we went into the dining hall first and did some fun stuff i guess... like with improv and the green screen... and then the little welcome video with NIGEL!!! yay and his british accent... um right so i was like hawtt accent he's got... and yeah
then we unpack un poco and had some drama with figuring out the rooms... we got it under control eventually... in like the whole room we had me alexis sonia paige chirstine paula katie alshyia dana and trish... on my side and alexis sonia paige and trishia
um so that night we had session... and the first one is always just a little awkward and cool right... so nigel came out i think and like intruduced all the stuff and all that and then murphy and then like jessica? i dont remember... the new co-host lol... right and so murphy's all like what? and stuff so that's like the thing for this weekend and then broomball update... and then Heath McNease.... at first it was like he's cute... and then it was weird because he's an emcee right... so it was like wait this isn't really good springhill music... and then jeffery dean came out... i dont remember what he talked about that night... let me think.... he talked about how even though adam and eve sinned horribly and treated God like dirt he dressed them in leather... and he also talked about surrending your life to God and such... then a pretty good small groups and then late night activities... i believe we bought some cards... but didn't even play with them... and then the ones in our side of the room just stayed in and chilled while the rest were off galavanting con los chicos... but it was alright i guess... me and paige got over it i guess
umm ok this getting boring and long
ok so the rest in bullets... in semi-sorta order
- it was freezing... and i woke up because i was so cold
- we got the sucky half of the room... like outside practically
- slept with sweatshirt double socks and gloves... yeah
- they went tubing... i dont like tubing i watched...stephen grabbed my hand and wanted me to come... i did
- didn't like it
- morning session with heath amazing good worship songs... his voice was incredible... i sat on the floor the whole time with chirstine
- that was cool
- her friend came to chirst that weekend <3
- we went to the talk show and i found out that HEATH MCNEASE is my soulmate
- sunday i actually talked to heath... other than in the Q&A and i asked him after being pushed by the Jessica? girl right into him... [lol and taking a picture of him and 2 other girl hahah.... oh and like rubbling into a group of girls trying to get with my soulmate]... and i asked him if his cd was on iTunes... and he answered me...=)
- decided that i was going to move to england... and definately find i suppose my other soulmate who's ridiculously like Heath but with a british accent
- small groups were all pretty cool... didn't cry... didn't want to... shared some incoherant stuff... yeah as usual
- prayer labriyth rocked... got a sweet necklace about God... so excited about wearing it all the time.. hopefully grew a little bit spritually
- we got second place in broomball
- shared in front of the whole camp about how hateful i am... wow
- found out that nigel doesn't really have an english accent....... and that his name is Tony = (
- went to open mic... interesting.... learnt animals make mistakes... and i saw the greatest rendition of Grand Theft Autumn i will ever hear or see... ever.
- bad food... barely ate.... lots of potatos... hating eating
- told kyler his soulmate was katie... ha ha
- had to tell stephen i thought dana likes him... [later to realize she doesn't... but he might] and then he said.. i don't like her... i said who then? he goes no one
- stopped liking stephen
- made love with Heath
- ok fine i was lying... i told people i stopped liking stephen
- haha yeah and the last one about heath... duh
- i dunno i might've actually stopped liking him... as sonia said why like him if he doesn't like you... or something like that i guess... eh oh well
- i haven't taken a shower since like 2 on friday... eww
- rode and the big bus home... despite what i told peter again... yeah
- stephen decided to ride on it too... just trying to make things difficult it seems... he spent the time joking with lynette and heather the whole time in the back
- listened to music most of the way home
- fell asleep listening to music
- felt extremely depressed about stephen, hate, and life
i just want to love God and let God love me
but it's just so hard
overall SpringHill just confused me... but i loved it... so much...
on an even more suck note:
coming home just made me realize like how mean and bad people my family are... and to them i'm not much better
i'm so fake... i need to be fake just all the time... even at home... all the time... i've got to try.... that will make things better... that and not eating so much... i barely ate this weekend because the food sucked... but yeah...
