I'm a tired boy. Who knew organising and running a small conference could be so draining? :') Well, I'm taking most of my hours off this coming week for my Knox job, which is a good thing because I went way over this week. I work 24 hours a week; I had 12 extra hours to make up; I worked 56.5 hours this past week (ending saturday, the day of the conference). So even with the extra hours, I'm 20.5 hours over. That's 20.5 hours I can NOT work this week. My work week starts on sunday. I was 'on duty' about 2 hours today. So, 1.5 hours to go for this week!
At one point this past week I was working on organising the time and location of all the seminars for the conference as well as the seminar assignments for all the conference-goers. While doing so I was listening to Roy Orbison's "Workin' for the Man" on constant loop. That kind of thing doesn't annoy me. It just allows me to focus on the work while still drawing energy from the music.
