Cold
Eh, so this is something I should have written about on Friday, but w/e.
Froze my ass off longer then needbe on Friday since I was down in the city an hour or two longer then I should have been. Long story short I didn't think to check my home messages to see if my client had called. I assumed she'd call my cell, as I've given her that number countless times..... alas I guess she has yet to write it down.
You see I was already on my way there after unfortunately missing two trains to a doctor's appointment, so since I was already late and had to kill some time I went there and paid the missed visit fee (ouch). So once that was done I headed back uptown to 42nd then got the shuttle to the east side. So yeah, thought all was going well (aside from the fact that the wind chill was like 0, and I hadn't had the chance to toss on my sweatshirt I packed in my bookbag just in case I was colder then I thought I would have been, I'm normally warmer then the 'average bear').
Got there with time to spare, so I took a few moments to place up a flyer advertising my services, however after the first piece of tape was in place the second would not come off right no matter what (either due to the cold or just to spite me...).
So once various pieces of ripped off tape bits were placed to hold the other side of the flyer, I shoved my partially frozen hand in my glove and went to her building. The doorman called her to announce me, but then she spoke to me via the phone/intercom and said she had called earlier to say to not come.
So great....... stepping back out into the cold I retraced my steps (so to speak) and made my way home.
Wasn't much to mention, hence the lack of updates since Dec. Not much else to mention currently either, aside from ReBoot related stuffs.
