Brandy my dear, thank you for a wonderful weekend in Toronto for Pride 2005.  I had such a great time.

Toronto Pride 2005 (Part One)

Saturday

I got off the bus at 11am, where Brandy picked me up. We then proceeded by foot down Queen Street - the wrong way, which was completely my fault. I'm directionally challenged, folks. It's ok though. Brandy forgave me, being the nice and beautiful creature that she is. Not everyone could forgive someone getting them lost for an hour, especially when they've only known that person in real life for only the hour in which they've gotten you lost. Oh boy.

When we finally got going in the proper direction, I took Brandy out for lunch at the Korean Grill House. It's one of the best restaurants in Toronto that I've been to. If you get the buffet, you get all raw meat and veggies sent to your table in little containers. You then proceed to cook your own food into the grills built right into the table. It's hella neat and super tasty. I respect the beliefs and dietary requirements of vegans and vegetarians, but damn am I glad Brandy was an omnivore so she could fully appreciate the entire buffet.

We then went back to Brandy's place and had hot girly sex. I'm so kidding, not that I would have minded in the least, of course. You have seen how hot the girl is, right? I was a boring twit and needed a nap due to too much sun (re getting lost earlier) while Brandy and her roommates had interesting conversations, I'm sure. After the much needed sleep, we went out for dinner, then for a walk down Church Street (the gaybourhood) holding hands. These nasty, sleazy, drunken idiots came up to us and started with the groping! In case you're not up to speed, it's Toronto GAY Pride, we're in the GAY district, and we're holding hands! Please, boys, don't be that idiotic and try to grab some ass. Oh yeah, you were that idiotic.

Maybe that's why a 7'4" tall blonde drag queen named Marsha Mallow had to give you a verbal ass whooping and save the day! Er, night. Whatever. We had a great time talking to her and her lovely friend Veruca (who wants to be a SuicideGirl, but well, has too much equipment for what the site is looking for).

Sunday - The Parade

Brandy and I took the TTC to Wellesley and met with two lovely girls by the names of Emily and Leah. I had to sit my sucky ass down again in the shade away from everyone else because I was feeling woozy from the heat. I'm such a gimp. So, instead of getting to know everyone, I had to be a dork. Until the parade!

Emily's friends wanted to be in the parade, and were invited to do so, leaving Brandy, Leah and I to watch to watch the parade. I had to take a break in the nearest coffee shop twice but guess what? I didn't pass out! Sadly, I'm proud. Getting to know Leah was great. She's a hottie, a sweetheart and has great taste in music.

My camera died halfway throughout the parade, so all of Sunday night's pictures will be missing until I get the disposable camera's pictures developed and scanned. Soon, I promise. They are the most interesting of the bunch! I won't bother going any further down memory lane until I get those pictures, because otherwise - you wouldn't believe me.
