Lookout Records
What's up with Lookout bands all having the same 8 or so people in them? Apparently Squirtgun has Mass Giogini and Dan Lumley in it. Both have also played in Screeching Weasel and Common Rider, and now Lumley is in the Riverdales with ex-Weasels Dan Vapid and Ben Weasel. Lumley was also in the Mopes with Vapid and ex-Weasel Jughead, along with the Queers' B-Face. In fact, I think Lumley and Panic are the same person. Panic and B-Face have also been in the Groovie Ghoulies. It's all really confusing.
Another thing, what the fuck is up with all the 'out-of-print' albums on the Lookout website? There's about 15 albums I've been wanting to get since I was about 16-years-old and now I'll never have them because they don't press them anymore. the Ghoulies don't even have any in-print full lengths anymore. I'm pissed.
The last couple Lookout comps had stupid shit on em. There was great stuff in there, too, but I remember when I could always throw 5 or 6 bucks towards a Lookout comp and never be disappointed.
