Broken Bottle Blues
Last night was awesome. I went to see Duncan's bro play at the Alberta Pub - The Broken Bottle Blues. We got there on time and it was empty, and we got kicked out for being under age, so we went to the house where they are all crashing (there all from New Orleans), and then we snuck in with the band later. I had a few beers and watched the opening acts- which consisted of some acoustic blues stuff and a gypsy chick violin and accordion player. Duncan's bro got naked and played some blue grass kind of stuff with his train hopper band. They had a mandolin player, and a bass made out of a stick and a bucket-which rocked. People got pretty nuts. I'm officially banned from Alberta pub...but oh well...
Also- I am REALLY REALLY going to miss Cassie!! She has been the best neighbor anyone could ever hope for! She let me use her shower when my water got turned off. Not to mention all the food. She is with out a doubt one of the most honest and true friends I have. I know a lot of people who say they're my friend, but then consistently disrespect me- but Cassie has been a true friend. And for that I will miss her SO much!
Oh yeah..because you ALL care: my final grades came back! Straight A's Woop woop....Duncan got straight A's too- in all of his SIX classes! Yay! Which is why I love him!!
