Quiz Show (1994)

Oh, Quiz Show. I adore this movie.

The basic premise is that Dick Goodwin (Rob Morrow), an idealistic lawyer working for Congress in the late 1950s, comes to suspect that the quiz show, Twenty One, is rigged. His investigation leads him to the geeky, working-class Herbert Stempel (John Turturro) and clean-cut intellectual Charles Van Doren (Ralph Fiennes). Stempel offers him food. Van Doren takes him out to lunch, introduces him to his father, invites him to his family home in the country and takes him sailing. Alone. It isn't slashy at all.

... I'll shut up now.

Dick Goodwin gives Charles Van Doren a strangely predatory look.

Aw, the heck with it...

Sailing! I swear this is normal.

I have the entire movie capped, so I'll post bits and pieces as I upload them. So far, this is scene and the couple of extras tagged on the end are all I've got online.

quiz show, smile, tongue
