So, this is a canon character and a lot of the things we already know... But this might shed some light in how I see Remus? I don't know, something like that. Some are just theories I have of the character and all, of course. Hope it helps.
Covers mostly
hpsixwords and
grownhp6words.
The Character Physically
1. What is the character's stature and build? Is he overweight? Thin? What is his height and weight?
Remus is very tall; he's around 6'4". Weight wise, Remus is very thin and it's almost impossible for him to really gain weight. When he does he just goes back to losing it as soon as the week before the full moon starts, because his body is evil that way. But hey, at least he can say he's trying by eating all the chocolate, right?
2. How old is he?
In canon, he turned 38 the year he died so that's the same age he is in
hpsixwords. After that, he'd appreciate if no one else kept count, thanks. >.>
3. Describe his posture. Is it good? Does he carry himself well? Is he crooked? Straight?
When he moves he is graceful and quiet. Regarding his posture, he slouches a little more often than not. It just happens.
4. Is he in good shape or out of condition? Is he muscularly weak or strong?
Remus has the appearance of someone who looks frail and weak, especially around the full moon, but he can carry his own and is much stronger than he is given credit for. It's just not something that other people can usually see at first. He really doesn't mind it, and it amuses him a little when it takes others by surprise when he proves himself.
5. How is his health? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Conditions? He's a werewolf. He's usually ill half of the month, or at least looks it because of how the potion and the moon affect his body. And after that night of the month when his body breaks and he transforms, he's left weakened and in pain but other than that his health isn't too bad.
6. Is he physically active or sedentary? A fast or slow mover?
He's not really the active type. At all. Which is one reason why he's such a bookworm. He's not exactly a slow mover, though, and if needed he can move fast. Moony, on the other hand, can be extremely active. He can never move fast enough.
7. Is he clumsy, awkward, graceful?
Graceful, and also with very good reflexes. Something else that sometimes takes people by surprise.
8. Does he move in straight or curved lines? Is he physically tight or fluid?
It really depends on how he's feeling. If he's all right, fluid. When he's in a lot of pain, even if he tries to hide it, he's physically tight.
9. What are his chief efforts?
Honestly? He has no idea. To live is what he tries to focus on.
10. Is the character good-looking, pretty, beautiful, average, plain, ugly, disfigured?
Remus has so many issues when it comes to his physical appearance. He has issues just looking at himself in the mirror so he would choose ugly and disfigured. He has scars throughout his body, and he hates the fact that some are actually visible for others to see.
11. Is the character aware of herself physically? His looks?
Like I said, he has issues. He honestly does not understand why some people tell him he's good looking.
12. Describe his complexion and skin. Dark, light, clear, marked?
Pale, and marked by scars.
13. Describe his hair, coloring, styling. Is it taken care of?
Light brown mixed with gray. He doesn't let it get too long now, but he doesn't mind it if it is. He just prefers it a little shorter now.
14. How is his usual dexterity? Does he have good hands: Can he do things? Is he a worker?
Remus is right handed. When he was younger his mother used to tell him he had perfect piano hands but, even if he did play it from time to time, he never had the passion for it like she did. He writes a lot, and he tries to bake every now and then though he prefers to leave that to Sirius since he's much better at it. As for the last, he is very much a worker.
15. Is he physically tense or relaxed, nervous, controlled?
Controlled. Control is a big, big issue for Remus and he hates the possibility of giving himself away by not being in control.
16. What are his chief tension centers?
Neck, which is another reason why he rubs the side of it whenever he's stressed out. He gets headaches every now and then too.
17. What part of his body would you notice first?
Scars and eyes.
18. Describe his basic gravity factor. Is there a downward pull or buoyancy?
Downward pull.
The Character's Clothes
1. How much clothes does this character have?
Enough.
2. What items are in their wardrobe?
Robes, pants, jackets, button up shirts, ties, sweaters... He has two or three short-sleeve, but he rarely wears them. He really doesn't have more clothes than what he needs.
3. What are their favorite articles of clothing?
He has a gray sweater that he can't bring himself to let go of even if it is old and worn. That would be his favorite one.
4. What colors are the clothes? Is there a wide range? Bright or dull? What are their favorite colors to wear?
He doesn't have a favorite, but he wears dark, and neutral colors. He's not fond of anything bright on him, or light.
5. Are their clothes bright or dull?
Dull. >.>
6. Were they bought or home-made, hand-me-downs, expensive?
Remus cannot, and will not, wear expensive clothes. He has no problem buying the best things for his children now that he is able to do so since he is able to work, but other than that he prefers the very simple things and he doesn't mind the home-made or whatever else.
7. What is one of his favorite items to wear?
The gray sweater that was mentioned.
8. Do his clothes fit well?
Not really. He's tall, but too thin so his clothes never really fit him all that well.
9. Is he comfortable in what he wears? Does he "fight" her clothes?
He's very comfortable. He "fights" the expensive clothes for himself.
10. Is he confident about the way he dresses, or uneasy?
When he didn't have any money and his robes and clothes were patched up, and gave away how poor he was, he used to be uneasy. Now he isn't particularly confident, but he is not uneasy anymore.
11. Does he care for his clothes? Keep them up and neat? Is he worried about how they look?
He takes extremely good care of his clothes; he learned to do so throughout the years. His appearance, even when he looked raggedy because of the clothes, was neat and orderly. It's more for his personal comfort than appearance. ...well, it's a little of both.
12. Does he have to dress a certain way because of his job or position? If so, do his usual clothes fit his real, basic character?
Teaching robes and dressed professionally. And...yeah, they actually do.
13. Does he dress according to a self image of himself? Is that self image conscious or unconscious? At what age was this self image made?
Oooh, that's a good question. I think he does, but he doesn't quite realize it. I'd imagine that the self image started some time before arriving to Hogwarts.
14. What kind of underwear does he wear?
He says that's for him to know, thanks.
The Character's Voice
1. Does he speak in a high or low pitch voice? When might he be higher than usual? When lower?
Low. If he's serious, or comforting someone, or he's not feeling well then it gets lower.
2. Is he a loud or soft talker?
Soft talker, sometimes even when he's angry - there's just an edge to his words if that's the case. For him it's rare to ever be loud unless he's high with special brownies he's very angry at someone.
3. Is there a wide range in the voice in volume, pitch and/or quality, or is the voice pretty consistent and even?
His voice is pretty consistent and even, yeah. Like I said, he's not one to be loud unless he can't help it.
4. Is there good resonance to the voice? Is the voice throaty, chesty, heady, nasal?
Hoarse from time to time. More than usual when it's after the full moon.
5. Is there tension in the voice? Anxiety? Emotion?
There's usually just a calm that sometimes he doesn't even feel, but he tries to keep his emotions to himself. Even through his voice.
6. Is there an accent? Anything unusual in pronunciation? Emphasis? Phrasing?
Unless you count his London accent.
7. Is it a trained voice, or just natural?
Trained in the sense that sometimes he holds himself back from showing how he really feels sometimes.
8. Does the character "try" to speak well or just "how it comes out"?
That's just how it comes out.
9. Is the speech clear or muddy? Does he mumble? Is he distinct?
Even if his voice is low, he tries to be clear. He rarely mumbles.
10. Is the voice comforting or irritating? Reassuring or disturbing?
It can be very comforting and reassuring when he wants it to be.
11. Is he self-conscious when he speaks to others? How large a group could he speak to before he became self-conscious?
He feels more comfortable in small groups rather than large ones.
The Character's Mind
1. Is the character smart, dumb, naive?
Very smart. He refuses to ever stop learning.

He is able to think quickly but he prefers to take his time when it comes to big decisions and yes, he's witty.
3. What kind of education has he had?
Remus graduated from Hogwarts with excellent grades.
4. What subjects does the character have knowledge or expertise in?
Oi, Remus lives for research and knowledge. He tries to have knowledge in every subject there is, but he paid more attention to Charms, DADA, Transfiguration, and History of Magic while at school. And since he is the DADA professor, he tries to have as much knowledge as he can on the subject.
5. Is the character impulsive or deliberate in reaching conclusions? Is he logical, rational, or emotional?
For the most part he is deliberate and tries to be logical and rational. Nonetheless, there are moments when his emotions bleed through and he can be impulsive and emotional.
6. Does he think out things before she speaks or can he "think on her feet" as he is speaking?
He can think on his feet, but he's usually the quiet one that is thinking and taking things in while others are talking.

He definitely is contemplative. His thoughts range from everything and nothing, and all that's in between.

Pragmatist. He prefers the term realist.

Practical rewards.

Introvert, even if there is an extrovert side of him that surfaces every now and then.
2. Does he get along well with people? Does he have charm? Are people attracted to him? Does he like people?
He gets along with people. Remus is open in the sense that he can talk and listen to anyone that is willing to carry a conversation with him, but he leaves that decision to others. He likes people, but he's not really one to approach someone on his own. Around the full moon, he'd rather be anti-social and slink off somewhere, though.
3. Does he have many friends? Any close friends?
Now he has a lot of friends and, while he trusts all of them, there are only a certain few that he can tell anything to. And even then it's hard for him to be completely open.
4. Is he hot-blooded or cool-headed?
Cool-headed for the most part, but he can be very hot-headed in certain moods/situations.
5. Does he have a narrow or wide range of emotions? Do they show often?
Wide, but not everyone gets a chance to see them or even know about them.
6. Does he indulge in emotional peaks, outbursts, or valleys? Often?
Yep. Often. Whether he lets others see it or not, that's another story.
7. Would you say he is basically sensitive or calloused?
I think sensitive wins. Overall, though, he's mostly a mix of both, it just depends what/who he's dealing with and how he is feeling.
8. Is he suspicious, cautious, trusting, or naive about new people or situations?
He's very suspicious and cautious, but it's hidden behind masks and polite smiles. If he's around someone he knows and trusts, though, he is able to trust them as much as he is able to.
9. Is he an aggressive or reactive person? Is he a pusher or a puller?
He can be both. Of both things.
10. Does he take positive or negative action?
Er... Well. He tries to have a positive outlook when it comes to others. He can be very negative when it's something regarding himself.
11. In a danger or emergency situation would he go to it or run away from it?
Remus is most definitely not a man of conflict, but he would not run away from a dangerous or emergency situation. He's not the kind to start trouble, he is the kind that finishes it, or at least tries to.
12. Is the character basically nervous or calm?
He prefers neutrality.
13. Does the character have a sense of humor? Does he appreciate jokes? Can he see humor in unfunny situations? Can he laugh at himself?
Being a werewolf and everything else that entails has given him a sarcastic and dry humor, so yes he has it, some people just don't really get it. He appreciates jokes, of course. He's a Marauder. He just dislikes the cruel ones.
14. Can he tell a funny story or joke? Do others find him amusing?
Yes he can but, again, he has that sarcastic and dry humor. So unless the person can take that humor, and see it for what it is rather than just cynicism, they would find him amusing.
15. Is he a practical joker? What is his opinion of tricks or jokes played on other people?
At heart he is, yes. He doesn't mind being mischievous, but being cruel is something he cannot stand.
16. Is his humor ever cruel?
No. Er, at least he doesn't think so?
17. Under what conditions could he be harmful or mean or cruel to another person?
Hurt or threaten someone he cares about, and see how quickly the kind and sensitive exterior melts. He doesn't care when others insult or hurt him, but when it comes to someone he loves... The wolf doesn't mind making an appearance, let me just put it that way.
18. Is he a loving person? Is he full of love and giving or rather bound and tight in this area? Is he capable of relation to others in a loving way? Is he capable or relating to one specific person in a romantic way?

Friends and family.
20. Is he romantically in love now? With whom? Is this a happy, rewarding or frustrating situation or her?
Yes he is.
The Character's Wealth, Power, and Influence
1. Does this person have much money? Does it provide position or respect from others for him?
He has enough, and that's what he needs. Position and respect from others regarding that means nothing to him. After all the years he spent without any money, he knows how to use his money effectively and still save some for emergencies. It terrifies him that one day he might not be able to work anymore and therefore won't be able to contribute.
2. Is he generous or selfish with his money and possessions?
He's very generous.
3. Is the character socially prominent? Is he prominent from wealth, position or office, family history, ability or accomplishment?
He doesn't think so. He's a werewolf and it's well known, and for some that's not a good thing. The fact that he was dead and is now alive probably earned him some sort of "fame." >.>
4. Does the character rate high in the "pecking order" with his household? Town? Area? Nation? World?
Er... He'll go with no. In all those.

Remus has a way with words to drive his point home, right Harry? ;) So I guess that, although I don't think it falls under the 'doing his bidding' category.
7. How does he get his wishes daily?
Er...
8. To whom is he subservient? Is this submission willing or unavoidable?
Family and friends, in a way. Those who were his professors, too. And it happens without him realizing it.
The Character's Activities
1. How does the character spend his time?
Reading, writing, spending time with his family and friends, and drawing from time to time. The latter isn't something he sets time aside for; it's actually something he does when he's alone and is bored so not everyone knows he even does it.
2. What does his daily routine consist of?
Shower, cooking breakfast, teach, spend time with family/friends, plan the lesson plan for the next day, spend more time with family/friends, sleep.
3. What is his profession or work?
DADA professor at Hogwarts.

6. What are his leisure time activities? Pastimes? Recreation?
Reading, writing and, like I said, drawing when there's nothing else to do.
7. Does he play games? What kind?
Hmm, not really. Wizarding Chess from time to time. Poker when the Order members play. Other than that, not really.
8. Does he like to eat or drink? How important to his are food and drink?
After those years when he had nothing, for him it's more important to have the food and drink readily available for his family, than for him to eat or drink them. He actually doesn't eat a lot, unless it's chocolate.
9. How important is sex to him? What sexual activities does he partake in? Anything unusual?
He says those who need to know, know. That's all that matters.
10. Is his exactitude about sex healthy or disturbing to him? Is sex a rewarding, enriching part of this person's life or is it frightening, anxious, or frustrating? Is sex a positive or negative factor in his life?
It's a positive factor. He refuses to answer anything other than that.

6. What is the one thing he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
That he's every bit the beast the bigots say he is.
