Tony could see as soon as Abby got nearer that she was up to something. He thought maybe she wanted something from Gibbs, or even more likely, McGee, so when she stopped at his desk he was confused.
"Tony," she said, with her most innocent smile. A sure sign that she wasn't innocent! Tony narrowed his eyes.
"Yes," he said cautiously.
"You know how you mentioned you weren't doing anything special on Christmas Eve?" she said, with that tilt of her head. Tony was strong though, he wasn't going to succumb.
"I may have mentioned that in passing, yes, didn't think you'd remember," he said, trying not to sound nervous.
"Good!" she said, smile large now. "So then you won't mind helping me with a thing." Again with the cuteness, and the eyes.
"No, I, why don't you ask McGee?" Tony said in a desperate attempt to not get roped into whatever Abby had planned.
"He's busy," she said. "And anyway, this is something that really needs a touch of DiNozzo magic."
"Well, when you put it like that..."
And that was how Tony ended up in an orphanage on Christmas Eve, playing Santa in a red costume, with a pillow stuffed into it, and a large, white beard.
