Conditioner woes, a cross post from G+

This may be mundane and silly, but it's been adding to my stress recently.

They've stopped making the conditioner that I've been using for the last two years. (Insert annoyed but resigned sigh here.) So, I've been on a quest to find a decent replacement. Below are my reviews of what I've tried so far.

For reference, I had been using Pantene's Everlasting Ends conditioner. The smell was inoffensive and the conditioner actually worked.

Pantene's Beautiful Lengths:
I started with this since it was supposed to replace what I had been using.
Smell: imagine the most artificial smelling strawberry bubble gum you've ever had. That's what this conditioner smells like. WTF? Why on earth would I want to smell like this? I'm not an eleven year old who's just discovered Lip Smackers! I'm an adult with nasal and skin allergies. The less fragrance, the better.
Consistency: thick, but doesn't spread around as much as the old stuff
Rinse: rinses fine
Condition: conditions okay, but not nearly as well as the old one. Plus, the aforementioned scent is still noticeable 12 hours later.

Dove Intensive Repair:
Smell: whoa! Holy artificial coconut, Batman!
Consistency: thick and fairly workable
Rinse: takes a bit longer than it should to rinse
Condition: conditions okay, but the smell is still noticeable even 24 hours later.

Clear Scalp & Hair Strong Lengths
Smell: Finally, one I like the smell of! In fact, this one has my favorite smell of all of the ones I've tested so far. It's subtle, and just smells vaguely clean.
Consistency: very thick and hard to spread out. Ended up using about twice as much as normal.
Rinse: rinses pretty well.
Condition: I would say that this one detangles okay, but it actually left my hair drier and more brittle than it was before I used this product. :-(

Aveeno Nourish + Strengthen:
Smell: smells a bit like damp flour, but it's not strong and the smell rinses out.
Consistency: super thin and almost watery. This makes it very hard to get the conditioner where it's needed.
Rinse: okay
Condition: meh.

TRESemmé Anti-Breakage:
Smell: clean, not too strong
Consistency: good. Thick, but not unworkable.
Rinse: okay
Condition: so far so good. I've only tried this one once. I usually like to give it a few days before deciding.
