TA Schedule and Other Mixed Nuts
Yesterday was almost entirely unproductive. I came home after class, passed out, and pretty much slept for sixteen hours. It seems like a terrible waste of time, but I think I needed it. Today I almost feel well-rested. It's been raining all day, though, and that makes me groggy.
Right now, I'm skipping a shindig at school. Apparently it's sort of a big deal, and I feel a little bad for missing it, but 1) I really need to stay home and work on the Project of Doom tonight, and 2) it's a dressy party, and I don't do dressy if it can possibly be avoided.
The big news of the day is that I got my TA schedule for next year. I got very lucky, and really couldn't be happier with my assignment. Both semesters I'll be TAing in my own subdisciplne, for my advisor, Dr. Monge. In the fall it will be for Intro to Human Evolution, and in the spring it will be for Anthropological Perspectives on Death. Yay!
Bah. I'm actually in the mood to get some work done... but not the work that I actually need to do. It would be better if I actually had some idea where to start with this thing. ::bitch moan bitch moan::
