Ugh. Now I remember why I don't go out much. I had to grab some last-minute Christmas gifts at the Tucson Mall yesterday (in order to keep from having to try to get it done between afternoon church and our evening Christmas program today). It was a good move, but wow, I had forgotten just how distressing a large number of oblivious people in such a small place could be. *shudder*

River and I watched most of Tin Man last night since she hadn't seen it all the way through. Turns out, since I had been working on Queso while watching it on TV, I missed a lot of the funny lines and spectacular facial expressions. :D (Cain got a ton of mileage on the exasperated "Ugh, there they go again...." look.)
Glitch: "You know, you oughta do something about that bitter cynicism of yours."
Cain: "Why? Someone's gotta keep your wide-eyed optimism in check."
Cain: "You're a deep well, Glitch."
Glitch: "It's all about the rhythm."

Oh, man, I had a spectacular dream last night! It had elements of random things--like some sections that reminded me of Tin Man, stewardwildcat and one of the profs he TAed for were in it, and a bunch of us flew Cylon raiders (FUN!) in an EVE-like battle--but for the most part it was fairly original. YAY! I wish I could remember more, but what I do remember was utterly fantastic. :D *happy sigh*
