I need all of you to keep my friend __kat__ in your thoughts and prayers for the next few weeks. Her dad was killed in a car accident last night. There is a whole lot more to this story that just makes it even more terrible, but it's not my place to tell. Just pray for her and her family, please.
And Kat, please, please, please call if you ever need anything. I want to be there for you, and I'm miffed I'm so far away that I can't be there in person.
I wish there were something I could say. I can't imagine what you're going through. I'd say I'm sorry, but...that's such a lame response...and it doesn't even begin to cover what I'm feeling....
