Before I get into fawning over my new cuties, a few other random things...such as a couple movies I've seen recently.
1. Cloverfield. I think "disturbing" is a good description. The critters weren't what bothered me; it was the realistic way it was shot that bothered the crap out of me. Good movie, though.
2. Iron Man. This movie was awesome. I wanna see it again! I liked that the guy was kind of a douche at first and only later turned into a good guy. That was neat. Though, my favorite part was the exchange between him and his CO2 robot. "And don't douse me unless I'm actually on fire." [later] "Y'know, don't even look at me. I feel like I'm going to spontaneously combust when you do that." :D

Speaking of movies.... River, do you want to see Prince Caspian tomorrow if you're feeling up to it? Consider it my housewarming gift. :-] Just a warning, though: some of the things you were worried about do happen in the movie.

Okay. I think I got the beardie problem solved...by mixing numbers two and three from my last post. I went on Craigslist (I'm really starting to love that site) and discovered that only two days ago, someone posted that they had "an overabundance" of baby bearded dragons that they are selling for over half the cost of buying one in a pet store. So I'm gonna nab a male and give that one to the guy from church. I did tell him about how it's better to have a male/female pair than just a female due to egg issues, and because of this, it's better if he gets a male. He was just fine with that. I also told him I'll be keeping a pair of them--I just didn't say which pair. :P I'm sure he won't mind the switcheroo; he'd probably be okay with it even if I told him exactly what I was doing. But I feel bad saying, "I was selfish and wanted the brother/sister pair, despite that I told you I'd give you one, so here you go." Still, though, even if I gave him one of these, I'd buy another off the Craigslist guy so I'd have a pair again, so it's not like this is costing me any more than it would otherwise. Plus, I get the added bonus of being responsible for my friend's beardies, which makes both of us happy.
Anyway, enough of the boring crap. On to the pictures!
The female is the more reddish-orange one; the male is the darker, brownish color.
They're even more cute when they're asleep. The female zonked off very quickly after the lights went out, and the male followed a little later. The female is almost entirely buried in paper towels--only her tail is sticking out; and the male's head is buried under some more paper towels. It's so cute!!
And, of course, you know what new critters means: new names! I need some input on this before I post a poll, though. Since I have a pair, it would be fun to name them together, like Adama and Roslin, Pinky and the Brain, etc. These are the only ones I've come up with so far, so lemme hear your ideas!
