After a month and a half of scrabbling for my notebook every time something vaguely amusing popped into my head, after a month and a half of spinning out puns as far as they could go, after a month and a half of occupied evenings, of demented weekends, of making strange strangulated cat noises in the shower, and of waking up in the middle of the night to write out things that amused me in my dreams....Aladdin is written.
