What do you think when you look in the mirror?

A mirror reflects a reverse image of me. Some use a mirror to see their faults. Some use it to see their attributes. A mirror tells me nothing my sensors do not. If a cat hair is on my dress, I already know what color it is and whether or not it will be visible to others.

I rarely utilize a mirror. My sensors tell me everything I need to know about my attire. It is not, for me, a tool of reflection in the psychological sense. I prefer to do that while I am cleaning the house. Such tedious work lends itself better to reflection. Since I know every inch of the house, I have no need to dwell on what I need to do where - how much water I need to mop here, how high I must reach to dust that. The rhythm of cleaning is a far better tool for rumination.

On the days I do not clean, I prefer the quiet of my room to staring at a mirror.
