Well....last post i think indicated my worst obsession
I facebook too much, facebook has a timeline but is the electronic equivalent of tagging a toilet wall, here today forgotten tomorrow!
I did the sink in the bathroom eventually, made pine "shoe brackets" to hold the porcelain flanges and secure that damned thing atop the pedestal.
Anime/dvd obsession....buying according to " bloody hell that price is good" also what looks good on the trailers (not good when watching old school stuff from about 2006, it tends to be out of bloody print, seen the price of Azumanga Daioh? One that everyone seems to assume you've seen it! Tecxnolaise (sp?) is one of those .... 7 originsl discs and affordable...except for disc 5 which needs an arm and a leg....i bought a region 4 (Australian Madman release!!!) for eleven quid which i have yet to see but i have all the Yoshitoshi ABe titles...that mans character designs are brilliant...i even got all the R1 Niea_7 discs, the only R2s you can get are the French ones bugrem.
Niea_7 is an endearing anime, done by the team who did Serial Experiments Lain as a bit of a palate cleanser i suspect. Very little happens in 4 discs but the characters are endearing. Haibane Renmei was written, too, by ABe largely on the fly.
So much anime, somes old somes new...the new i tend to get from Malaysia for about a tenner, japanese audio, english, chinese, and malay subs!
Current title "Sore Ga Seiyuu!" about the tribulations of an aspiring voice actress...
Fun, 2015, could try streaming BUT i dont have netflix and Crunchyroll splats adverts through it unless you go pay....
The most up to date titles i've seen have been Death Parade, Trinity Seven, Bodacious Space Pirates (series and Abyss of Hyperspace OVA).
I have Higurashi lined up (When They Cry)
Japanese animation is filling a need in me.
I think im coming out of the black place...i hope so, tears come easily but no longer unbidden.
Today i need to do housekeeping, mucho laundry. Bedmaking. Couldnt park close yesterday night/this early morning so gotta lug it.
