There is a long and earnest post about whether the word "retarded" should be redacted from the world....
long, earnest, and full of the "I never use that word so it's not needed" people.
I said "If a thing can be ADVANCED it can be RETARDED you mong" (a cars ignition system is an example)
mong is a delight from my school days and I would not use it directly to or about anyone - my school days were 50 years back before people invented labels for various conditions so schoolchildren came up with their own dainty epithets.
I shouldn't have slipped it in here, but I wanted to twitch the old float and sure enough, a concerned lady opined that making fun of people with disabilities was wrong and did it make me feel manly or something?
I replied that it made me feel something, usually
(aside; that's why my eyes are deteriorating)
and extrapolated without being abusive or name calling. And offered to pray for her at the end.
DAMN but I'm looking forward to her response... if there is one.

I can be nice.... or nasty.... fortunately I am rarely 100% of either for long. All yesterday as the laundrybag kepf falling on the floor and petty irritations multiplied I recalled the merry days when such things would trigger a screaming tantrum and violent physical retribution on the offending object.
The number of times I felt like chucking things at the wall or swinging them BAMM! BAMM!BAMM! against the floor.
And then you get the usual whining guardianistas telling me what I should say or not say even if I can't be arsed to say it anyway.

DAMNED IF I KNOW.
I JUST KNOW I HAVEN'T GOT IT.
