So Lord Lelouch fav'd put story alert on Falcon Sword.
Also, he left a review:
First and foremost I must say that I am a big fan of Eliwood/Lyndis pairing.
In fact whenever I play FE7 I always make Eliwood/Lyndis the end pairing.
So I must say while this fic really is good at portraying Eliwood as a
repressed sort of character with a lot of guilt I must say that I find it
utterly depressing.
So I am going to be a bit of a selfish request and ask if you could I don't
know write a happier ending for these two, and I mean a Eliwood/Lyndis happier
ending.
Or at least write a sequel where Eliwood gets over his guilt and he and Lyndis
can actually have a happy marriage life together and let love bloom and repair
their broken friendship and let romance bloom again.
I think my fic flew over his head. Considering the story alert, I think he might seriously expect me to do this, too.

Hey I just read your fic "The Falcon Sword". I'll admit that it is very well
written from and angst point of view.
But I have to ask whether or not you could perhaps write a happy story about
the two of them where while they have their difficulties they still love each
other.
Or even better you could write a sequel to this story where Eliwood finally
overcomes his guilt and get over whatever emotional repression he has and
start to make an effort in giving Lyndis a happier marriage with him where
they rebuild their friendship and rekindle the love and romance between them.
And Lyndis finally forgives ELiwood for his earlier faults and live a happy
life with him.
I will admit that I'm a die hard Eliwood/Lyndis fan and I do want to see them
living happily with each other. So could you please perhaps do something like
that.
If I were to reply, it would be to say "lol no" but I'm not sure I care to even do that.

Okay. I'll admit that this story from an angst point of view properly written,
but that does not mean I enjoy it.
Personally speaking I don't think Eliwood would ever behave like that toward
Lyndis. He's not the type who will ruin the life of others simply because he
feel as though he is failing somehow. Which I must say he is not. I mean he's
the greatest warrior in all of Lycia an excellent Marquess , a brilliant sword
fighter. He's is probably the anti-thesis of failure.
I request that you write a sequel to this in which Eliwood gets over himself
and start treating Lyn with love and care and give her a happy marriage with
him. Also have Lyndis forgive him for his faults at the beginning and have the
regain their friendship and love for each other.
I absolutely love Eliwood/Lyndis pairing and I hope you can write a happy
ending with Eliwood/Lyndis pairing that will do these two justice.
