Ever since I realized that Weevil's new ride is ALSO a Chevy Impala, I have had this secret fantasy of him and the Winchesters going drag racing.

Eh. Different breeds of vamps is what I say.

This is another, more ancient strain that had been almost entirely killed off DECADES ago which is why Buffy et all never mentioned it.

That way, it works.

(Oh! and you could have the remnants of the SPN vamps go running off to a stronghold of Buffyverse vamps and joining forces. Since the B vamps have strength of numbers and the S vamps have advantages like being able to go outside and not being stake-able.)

It'd work.

There's already SPN/Buffy crossovers out there. Dean/Faith seems to be the preferred pairing.

Although, I read a WIP "Willow wakes up in Las Vegas married to Dean" fic.

Well, it was supposedly an answer to a challenge of "somebody from the Buffyverse wakes up after a reallyReally drunk night in Vegas married to someone from another show and neither of them remember how this happened."

So, Dean and Willow very drunk random hookup can possibly work. And, given the tendancies of both shows, I'm sure that mystical influences will have been involved as well.

Dean/Faith TOTALLY works.

The other crossover pairing that crops up often is Sam/River, which I'm not sure how I feel about.
