Randomness

Nov 23, 2005 18:33

I should be still working but I won't be around much over the next few days, so I will take a quick break and share some randomness.

~ I am eating a hot pumpkin-chocolate chip muffin my family just made. It is the BEST THING EVER!!! I will post the recipe if anyone is interested.

~ Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world.

~ My sinuses burn. (TMI? Sorry, but they do.)

~ NINE days from now I will be in the Chicago airport!!!

~ I want to make a long rambley post like my Prison Break one, but no time right now. So, in short:

~ I CANNOT believe they ended like that! AND, as I've only just learned - they're going to leave us hanging like that until JANUARY!!!! (Evil, evil, evil.)
~ When did this show start getting seriously creepy and not just cheesy?
~ Aw! They talked in unison!
~ Dean climbing fences is hot. I love his little "heels over head" twist. I think he should climb a tall fence every 5 or 6 episodes.
~ I just love Dean, period. His "who's the hottest psychic" and "Haley Joel" were GREAT! and then there's the angsty stuff - GUH! - No time for that now.
~ I also love Sammy too. He's got so many issues - and it's not like a lot of shows where he's all tortured and moody and repressed about a single element. Like Jess's death or his Daddy issues. He's not simply refusing to let go - there's just a LOT of issues.
~ You know, they keep saying Sam is the smart one, but Dean realized the information about the doctor, and the secret lab, and the posession, and planned ahead for that. Sam was the one who went wandering off by himself, into a secret panel door that opened on it's own in a basement where his brother ISN'T.
~ Thankfully there not shooting ENTIRELY in the dark anymore. It didn't make this any less intense - and I was able to actually see their faces. Their pretty, pretty, talented faces.

What other randomness can I share with you?

~ Have I told you about Panda?
Panda, or rather THE Panda, is a three, three and a half foot tall (seated) stuffed panda bear. It was one of a collection of stuffed animals my grandmother had in her spare room/children's playroom when I was a child. There was also a unicorn, an eagle, several lions, a camel, a giraffe - lots of them (mostly wild/zoo animals).
But Panda, The Panda, was the best. Clearly the leader and ruler of all of them. I can remember trying to sleep with Panda, but the bulk was so massive, I couldn't wrap my arms around more than a leg. So, Panda usually slept on a chair, watching me, close enough so I could reach out and touch the black and white fur or squeeze a paw.
I also remember playing with my older cousin -the only time I remember playing pretend with her. I was about 5, she is two or three years older. We were playing with the animal kingdom and both of us wanted The Panda. She talked me into an exchange, which I smile at now, but I was happy with then, because she came up with some really cool ideas for the animals I got in trade (the unicorn got to teleport!) and she could do a suitably impressive voice for The Panda.
Anyway, to wrap up my long, rambling story. Earlier this year my grandma was preparing for a garage sale. My siblings rescued Panda. The Panda now lives in my room and has brought me ridiculous amounts of warm fuzzies and happy feelings over the past few months.

I know I'm 25, but I don't care. I love The Panda.

That is certainly a random enough post.

Less than an hour until Veronica Mars!

I LOVE sweeps!
