1 can Progresso Hearty Steak and Mushroom (240 cal)
1 slice cheese (120 cal)
1 bowl pasta with meat sauce
1/2 cup beets (18 cal)
1 small chicken breast
1.5 cups steamed cabbage
1 med. sweet potato
2 spoonfuls chocolate ice cream

All in all, about 1300 today. I thought it'd be more.

I didn't think I was going to do it because I was only at 60 oz when I came home at 10, but I did make my 80 oz. Ooh and the steamed cabbage. Yum. I adore steamed cabbage, that will be my lunch tomorrow.

Yes, I loved cooked cabbage. And cabbage is very good for you, lots of anti-carcigans, very low GI, and very filling. Of course, raw is EVER so much better, but it has a little bitter taste, so I only like it in slaw.

bleck. I wish I liked cabbage. Nasty stuff which is good good for you. Try veggie soup with cabbage as the base. Great for you, little caloric impact.

Yes, grated cabbage makes an excellent filler in soups and dishes when you're trying to avoid starches like rice and noodles.
