Today: Consumption, Exercise and More

1 90-cal smoothie
1 90-cal granola bar
small piece watermelon
South Beach Diet frozen meal with extra brown rice (250 cal)

Will Power Report! - Went to the "Great State Fair of Oklahoma" and did not purchase or consume any food or beverage product! (Oh, except a taste of homemade Wild Plum jam on a cracker.) And, yes, there were funnel cakes, indian tacos, and things like chocolate-covered cheesecake-on-a-stick.

Souper!Salad! for dinner afterwards. You guys have probably noticed that I like to make my salads creative and colorful. (No bland iceberg and sliced tomato for me.) Well, tonight I played a little game I like to do of getting as many different toppings as possible. It also helps me to eat those things I don't particularly like, but that are good for me.

Well, I had 17 items, not counting the greens and the dressing. Anyone wanna try to guess what?

I also had some kiwi, more watermelon, and a cup of really yummy chicken-mushroom-barley soup.

"Only" about 64 oz of water so far, but I think I'll try to drink another 24-oz bottle before bed.

I took Ransom out for about 45 minutes this morning. Even let him off the leash to run in the fields for a while.

He recognizes my workout clothes! When I came out in my exercise pants and sat down to put my shoes on, he started dancing around 'cause he knew he was going to go on a walk.

I'm going to go take him for another quick turn around the neighborhood before bedtime. I did that last night and he loved it so much. (I did too. Even with this little bit of work, he is SUCH a gentleman on the leash now. It's a real pleasure to take him out.)

No gym today or yesterday. But I got more than 2 hours of walking in between the fair and the dog, and I did my stretches. I'll make sure and get a cardio set in tomorrow.
