THEME FOR ENGLISH B
The instructor said,
Go home and write
a page tonight.
And let that page come out of you-
Then, it will be true.
I am sixteen, born in Hollywood, Florida.
I have lived in Plantation for most of my life.
I live with my family of five-they are insane and I love them for it
because I don’t think I’d be the same without them.
I think the world is baffling.
The smallest things seem to amaze me.
I love my life and being happy.
I see no reason to waste my time being sad.
What I want is really simple-to enjoy everything.
My grandpa always tells me that fun is the best thing to have.
Laughing is my hobby.
I want to lay in a field, in the sun., without a care in the world.
I love my friends.
I don’t know what I’d do without them.
I sing in the shower.
Music is part of my everyday life.
It fills me up and elates me.
I can’t explain the feeling.
I dance like an idiot when I’m alone.
And I like it.
I want to read every book that I can find.
Barnes and Noble is like a candy store to me.
I love being in the world of a good book.
My goal for life is to be wise.
I love to talk about philosophy,
and to throw around ideas.
I want to fill my brain with so much knowledge
and experience so much
that I can teach others.
I care about history.
I care about grammar.
I’m happy with where I am, and that’s what it should be.
