A/N: This is based on the Philippine drama I’ve watched maybe in 2003 or 2004 and I so love that drama. I’m trying to make a simplified version of it.
Summary: Will a three - week cruise to The Caribbean change the relationship between two strangers from two definitely different backgrounds and will the ‘escape’ finds a new meaning to both them? Will love find its way through? Will family be against them? Will life turns out well? Find out~ (I’m sucked at summary, so.. read on to know more)

Part 3
Inside Jaejoong’s suite, Changmin slept halfway through the sappy movie and Jaejoong went to his wardrobe to pull out the extra blanket to cover Changmin. When Jaejoong was about to cover Changmin and walks off, Changmin caught his wrist making Jaejoong jerked backwards towards Changmin.
Changmin murmured some incoherent words but his hand still holding Jaejoong’s wrist, Jaejoong decided to asks him whether he’s asleep or not.
When Jaejoong heard nothing for a moment, he thought Changmin was in his dreams and he slowly loosens the grip on his wrist.
When Jaejoong almost get off Changmin’s grip, Changmin tugged his wrist tighter. And murmured, “Jessie.. Stay~”
“Jessie?” Jaejoong raised an eye brow.
But all Jaejoong got was a harsh tug at his wrist making him fell on the couch.
Jaejoong is in shock and all he can think off is how to let go of the grip. Feeling that Changmin isn’t letting go any minute from now, Jaejoong decide to sleep on the couch too. Beside Changmin. ‘Well, I’ve done this with Yoochun before. Hope he didn’t kick me in the morning’
With that, both men fell asleep besides each other with Changmin muttering “Jessie… I love you~” into Jaejoong’s ears just before he tightens his hug on Jaejoong’s waist and Jaejoong who was about to drift off to lala land, flinched at the contact. But he soon calms down when he heard Changmin’s soft snore.
Changmin wakes up first and he realize he’s not in his room and there’s a lump of hair in front of his chest.
“Where am I?” Changmin said groggily and suddenly he remembered last night. How he slept halfway through the movie and the lump in front of him now is the owner of the suite; Jaejoong. When he finished registering the information, Jaejoong shuffle a bit but he didn’t wake up. Changmin nudged his arms softly and Jaejoong groggily answered; “Don’t bother me, Chunnie-ah! I don’t have work today!”
Chuckling at Jaejoong’s answer, Changmin poke his cheeks and Jaejoong scrunched up facial came to view as he answered “Aish!! Let me sleep!” rather annoyed.
Changmin calls his name and nudged him a bit harder this time and this time Jaejoong open his eyes.
“Uhhhh!~~ How come I sleep here?!” Jaejoong looks around the room and find that he’s in the living room couch and suddenly, he felt a nudge at his back.
“Jaejoong-ah~” came Changmin’s reply. Barely a whisper behind Jaejoong’s ear.
Jaejoong sits up straight as he realize Changmin is at his back.
“Oh.. Sorry Changmin-ah~” Jaejoong looked at Changmin apologetically and Changmin smile at him.
“No… I’m sorry Jaejoong-ah.. I shouldn’t sleep halfway through the movie.. Hehehe~” Changmin said embarrassed at his own action.
“No problem Changmin~ But… Can I ask you one thing though? You’ve been saying it constantly last night..”, Jaejoong looked at Changmin with a confused look in his expression.
“I-I did?”
“Yeah~ but you can choose not to answer it though.. I won’t force you..”
“Okay~ So, what is it?”
“Who’s Jessie??”
Changmin stood there, frozen and after a pregnant silent, Changmin looked at Jaejoong and sighed.
“Jessie is my ex.. She-she passed away last year…”
“I-I’m so sorry..“ Jaejoong scooted closer and clasped Changmin’s hands in his.
“Well.. Don’t be..” Changmin said bitterly.
“She cheated on me and she slept with my so-called best friend instead.. The night she died, my best friend said to her to stop the ‘affair’ and she can’t accept because she said she love my best friend more than she love me. She loves me because of my money. I showered her with things she wants and also my love. But she didn’t see that how much I love her.” Changmin’s eyes started to glistened with tears as he reminisce about the past.
“My best friend wants to come clean to me and stop the affair he had with Jessie considering how deeply in love I am with her. But Jessie.. she - she can’t accept the fact that my best friend wants to stop it and she.. she’s supposed to come back home, to me.. but.. she drove at full speed in a thunderstorm and… she collided head on with a truck… she - she was confirmed dead on scene… It’s too late…” Changmin sighed deeply and Jaejoong holds his hands tighter.
“Changmin-ah.. I’m sorry for making you remember all this…” Jaejoong squeeze Changmin’s hands and smile apologetically at him.
“Never mind, Jaejoong-ah~ I did have my happy times with her though~” Changmin smiled as a reassurance.
A warm smile makes its way to Jaejoong’s face as he saw Changmin’s reassuring smile.“Good to hear, Changmin-ah~”, Jaejoong knows how hard it is to forget such a grueling experience of losing your loved ones. Been there, done that. Jaejoong lose 2 of his most precious loved ones that night, four years ago.
Changmin said nothing for about a minute and then Jaejoong breaks the silence, “But now.. Let’s start our day happily!”
“That’s a good idea~ “, Changmin smiled slightly, “Which reminds me, the party is tonight right?”, the smile turns into a smirk almost instantly.
“Think so~ she whisper it to you~ not to me~ hahahaha~”
“Okay.. Okay~ enough with the teasing Jaejoong-ah~ so, tonight is the party but what are we gonna do today?”
“I’m thinking of a couple round of bowling~”
“That’s a good idea~ bowling it is then!” Changmin exclaimed excitedly and stands up from the couch.
Changmin makes his way to the front door, “Okay then~ what time we’ll gonna meet?”
“Around 12 maybe~”
“Great then~ let’s have brunch instead today~ okay?” Changmin said as he walks out of the suite followed by Jaejoong.
“Fine by me~ See you then~” Jaejoong waved at Changmin’s retreating back and heads back inside to get ready.
After getting ready for the day, Jaejoong got a text from Yoochun.

Jaejoong smiled at the last message Yoochun send. Jaejoong is known for his cleanliness. He loves to clean his house and cook during his past time. Yoochun and Junsu both love to have Jaejoong around as he helps with cleaning their apartment.
He put his hand phone aside as he gears up for the day. Bowling with Changmin. Then, a thought pop into Jaejoong’s mind, ‘Maybe we can have a competition then~’, and he grins happily. ‘Changmin seems like the competitive type~’, Jaejoong decided to wear a white Zara t-shirt and his faded blue jeans.
Tonight they have to attend a party and yet he can’t think of anything nice to wear. The club is hip alright. And Jaejoong supposedly doesn’t have any problem with it. He attends magazines launching and formal events regularly. But that’s formal. You can’t wear formal clothing to a party. Moreover, at a club. He needs something fresh, vibrant and spunky. He walks to his closet area and rummage his bag searching for something to wear.
Underneath all his clothing, he notices a black jeans and a nice gray Ralph Lauren button up shirt.
“Wow! This is nice!” he said as he picks up the clothes and stands in front of the closet mirror.
Jaejoong then get his hand phone and text a ‘Thanx Chunnie~ I really owe u!’ to Yoochun.
Smiling happily (after putting down the clothes), he make his way to his living room and he scanned the room for the stuffs he bought for Yoochun and Junsu the other day. He walks to the stuffs and he bought it back to the closet to be packed with his suitcase. (Incase he’ll forget it)
Jaejoong paced around the room and he went to the balcony to enjoy the view of the ocean. He then grabs his camera and snaps a few pictures. Smiling at his pictures, he walked back inside and looks at his watch. Almost time for brunch. Gotta go.
At the same time Jaejoong walks out of his suite, Yunho woke up. He had a headache and his wounded hand throbbed even harder, it turns painful. Muttering incoherent words groggily, he walks up of his bed and into the bathroom. He didn’t forget to take off his bandage first before walking in the shower. Taking a nice long shower makes his tensed muscles to relax and the throbbing pain in his head to subside.
Walking out of the bathroom with a bathrobe on, he toweled his wet hair and makes his way to the closet area. He chooses a grey t-shirt and his khaki Bermuda. Feeling all okay and happy, he decided to grab lunch downstairs.
Changmin’s and Jaejoong’s brunch went on fine as both men ate at the exclusive The Heat Restaurant besides the Coffee bean and Tea leaf café. The restaurant is owned by a young Italian chef, Gino D Ocampo. The cuisine there is exquisite. It tastes wonderful. Having a good laugh is good for your soul and both men enjoy the laugh and the cuisine side by side. Changmin treats Jaejoong for the lunch and when they was about to step out of the restaurant, another customer walks inside and the person bumped into Changmin’s shoulder.
Changmin was about to hiss at the person, looked up to see the person who bumped into him and his eyes widens at the sight in front of him. ‘It’s him again!’, he hissed inside his heart.
Jaejoong who stood a bit behind Changmin, stopped abruptly at the scene and his worst nightmare (in the form of Jung Yunho) is in front of his eyes, looking stunned. Jaejoong immediately feels uneasy and tries to pull Changmin out of the restaurant. Because people starting to stare at their awkward moment.
“Come on Min~ let’s go~”, Jaejoong tugged Changmin’s wrist and pulled him out of the restaurant without glancing back at the stunned Yunho.
Yunho’s sight follows Jaejoong’s and Changmin’s retreating back and only then he regains his composure. “He hates me that much nae? I guess I’m wrong though..”, sighing deeply, Yunho then shrugged his shoulders and walks into the restaurant.
Jaejoong grumbles as soon as they’re out of Yunho’s sight. Changmin was afraid to mess with a pissed off Jaejoong and he decided to keep quiet. But after a while, Changmin feels that Jaejoong really need to calm down. After much cooing, Jaejoong calmed down and they resume their day smoothly after that. They had a bowling competition between both of them and the loser will buy the beer tonight at the party. Changmin agreed happily to it. And, Jaejoong ends up the loser and he has to treat Changmin tonight.
Changmin yells ‘Yes! I win! Bring on the beer baby~’ and laugh whole heartedly at the chuckling Jaejoong. By the time they finished bowling, it’s already half past 5. Time pass by really fast when you’re having fun.
On the other side, Yunho is having a pretty bad day today. He woke up with a hangover, and he met the person who obviously hates him right now. It’s his own fault. Accusing that person of stealing and he has yet to apologize to the person personally. He feels bad for it but he still can’t find the strength within himself to just apologize to the pretty man himself. To add with that, he has a huge gash of wound on his hand. It hurts like hell!
After lunch, he went for some shopping and to occupy himself, he went to the gym and break out a sweat. He remembers that tonight is that girl’s party. By 7.30, he went back to his suite to get ready. Yunho grabs one of his crisp black shirts, paired with his Armani blazer and a pair of designer faded blue jeans from his closet and he puts it on his bed. He then went to take his bath and get him party-ready. At 8.45 p.m., he walks out to the club looking as if he just walks out of a magazine. He looks delicious.
Meanwhile, Jaejoong said they should get ready for the party after they finished their usual shot of caffeine. Jaejoong said he’ll meet Changmin at his room after he finished getting ready. By the time Jaejoong reaches his room, it’s already 6.15 p.m...
Jaejoong wears the black jeans and the grey Ralph Lauren button up shirt and he styles his hair with a special hairstyle tonight. By the time he finished getting ready, it’s already 7.45 p.m. Jaejoong then grabs his hand phone, wallet and watch with him to the club and he makes his way to Changmin’s room.
“WOW!”, that’s the only word Changmin said when he opens the door for Jaejoong. Changmin can’t keep his eyes off Jaejoong’s beautiful yet delicious handsome figure. Jaejoong looks stunning.
“What?!”
“You - you sure you're a photographer and not a model?”, Changmin said while eyeing the outfit.
“Huh..?? Hey! I’m NOT a model.. Come on.. This is my friend’s idea okay.. And it’s nice.. Love the shirt..”
“Yes! This look is definitely you! Really nice!”
“Thanks~ that’s what I said to him this morning. He said he had a surprise inside my bag~”
“That’s good of your friend.. Lemme guess.. it must be either Yoochun or Junsu right?”
“Haha~ You’re right! It’s Yoochun~”
“He has nice taste~”
“Yes he does~ okay.. Okay.. Enough mesmerizing me.. hahahaha~ come on.. Let’s go~~”
“Gimme a minute.. Come in first..”
The moment they walk towards the club, thunder resonates through the sky. It’s going to rain. But that didn’t stop the party.
Jaejoong walked inside the room and Changmin is standing in front of the mirror. Fixing his hair. Changmin does look like a model. He is tall, dark, handsome and witty. He’s definitely a ‘complete package’ guy. Any girl will definitely falls head over heels for him. And now with him all made up, Jaejoong bet he can score every girl in the club tonight.
“Okay~ Come on~”, Changmin’s voice wakes him up from his reverie.
Both men walk out of the suite and make their way into the club. Music blasting at full volume, people grinding dancing on the dance floor and couples making out is the sight which greeted them. A couple of heads turn their way towards them as they made their way inside. Girls whispering and guy’s is full of envy.
“Let’s find Cherise~”, Changmin has to shout because of the loud music.
Jaejoong notices Cherise’s friends on the private area of the club. She realizes Jaejoong and Changmin’s presence and she nudged Cherise’s arms and Cherise immediately turns her head around. Jaejoong also nudged Changmin’s arms to make him look at the girl’s direction.
“She’s there~”
“Yeah~ I saw her~ Come on~”, they make their way to the girls’ direction and Jaejoong saw how Changmin beamed happily once they’re there.
“Have a seat guys~”, Cherise said as she makes way for Jaejoong and Changmin. “What would you guys want?”, Cherise gestured for the bartender for some drinks.
“I’ll have a scotch~”, Changmin said. He isn’t the heavy drinker type of guy. Even though he has a high alcohol tolerance, he prefers to be sober enough by the end of the day.
“I’ll have a tequila~”, Jaejoong said and smirks at Changmin who eyed him tentatively.
“A strong start?”
“Yeah~ feels like it~”
While they wait for the drink to arrive, Cherise and her friends lingers around and strike up a conversation with Jaejoong and Changmin. Cherise, obviously has an eye for Changmin, seems to be very flirty with him and Jaejoong smiled inwardly at the sight. Cherise’s friends is actually quite nice. Most of them are in their sophomore year in college.
The drinks are served and Jaejoong asked for another shot. They talked for a while longer (some of them already on the dance floor, dancing with some random guys) and then he heard some girls squealing and he turns his head to the squealing girl’s direction and his eyes widens at the sight of a hot Yunho. He clenched his teeth as he saw how girls gawked over him and eyed him hungrily. Well, Jaejoong acknowledged that the guy has a well built body and handsome features but hey, he has the character of an evil witch! How dare he accuse him of doing such immoral thing! One of Cherise’s friends excused herself and walk up to Yunho while smiling seductively. ‘Oh no! She fell for him!’
Jaejoong mentally cursed as he saw Yunho beamed a smile at a girl on the bar. He then asks for another shot. Cherise invited Changmin to dance with her (and Changmin asked whether Jaejoong will be okay alone and Jaejoong said he’s not some girl and go ahead, have fun) even before Yunho’s arrival and Jaejoong just smiled at them. But his mood turns sour once he saw Yunho.
Yunho loves to be at parties. He can mingle and forget the harsh reality and just have fun. The moment he stepped inside the club, he can feel that all eyes on him. And he smirks seeing girls gawking at him and eyeing him angrily. He made his way to the bar and ordered himself a brandy.
Kimberly came up to him and mingled with him. Kimberly whisper ‘you came~ you looked hot~’ seductively in Yunho’s ears and Yunho can’t help but smirk at the girl. Yunho loves to entertain girls so he decided to buy a drink for the lovely lady. They chatted and flirted for a while and afterwards, he was led to the dance floor. People grinding their hips at him making him lost in the trance. He felt good.
After a while of dancing and grinding, he makes his way back to the bar and ordered another shot of brandy. Kimberly followed him and languidly rubs her body with Yunho. Yunho Jr. gets excited yet he tries to remain calm. He doesn’t wanna create trouble here. Yunho offered his drink to Kimberly and she dunked the drink in one go making her head light. She asked Yunho to dance with her but unexpectedly, he got a call from Donghae and because the music is too loud, he decided to take the call outside (in the open area) and he excused himself from her hold
Jaejoong had dunked his 4th shot of tequila and his inside feels burned. Girls approached Jaejoong and asking him to dance with them,and he immediately agreed to their invitation after seeing Yunho approaching the bar with Kimblerly clinging onto him. He feels a pang inside his heart whenever he saw girls gawking and flirt with Yunho. He also can't describe what exactly he felt seeing the scenes.
Thank god for his high alcohol tolerance, he didn’t even feel tipsy after 4 shots of tequila. He went to the dance floor and dance with the girls while he saw Changmin dancing sensually with Cherise. He smiled and resumes his dance with the girls. Girls grinding their bodies at Jaejoong and after a while of grinding dancing, he excused himself and makes his way to the bar (after he can't spot Yunho anywhere near the bar).
“Scotch please..”, he gestured the bartender.
“Coming right up~”
“Thanx~”, the smiled at the bartender and shoved a couple of bucks to him.
His watch already shows 11.15 p.m.. He can’t believe that all the grinding, dancing and talking actually took almost 2 hours of his time. Jaejoong notices that the club is situated near the open space (imagine the club is near to the pool area, the open area). He notices Changmin is too absorbed in his world to notice his surrounding. Jaejoong took his glass and walks to the open space. He eyed the area and walks to a quieter place. It was raining that night. The first rain storm since they went on the cruise.
Once he was outside, Yunho answered the call from his cousin and he walks off to the secluded part of the ship because of the loud music.
“Yoebosayo~”
“Hey man! How are you?!”
“Great~ you? Why you called? Any news?”
“That old man going to hold a press conference..”, Donghae told Yunho with a sad/upset kinda voice.
“He’ll what?!”, now it’s Yunho’s turn to be furious. That old geezer acts all caring when the fact that he is an old idiot who sleeps around with random girls.
Donghae told everything he knows to Yunho and Yunho is flaring by the end of the phone call. He clenched his phone tightly on his left hand and without warning, he smashed the glass he’s been holding on his right hand harshly on the floor. The glass shattered into a thousand pieces yet he still feels his blood raging and his inside boils.
On Jaejoong’s side, he walks out to the open air area with a content smile as he sips his scotch. There, he saw a man who is standing near the railing of the ship, clenching his phone and cursed loudly as if he was mad at it. ‘What is wrong with that guy?’, Jaejoong raised an eyebrow at the guy’s back. But what happens next shocked Jaejoong the most. The guy throws his glass on the floor and it shattered into a thousand pieces! ‘Damn this guy! He’ll hurt himself!’
People around them starting to walk away from the scene to avoid trouble from the raging man’s anger.
The storm is raging outside and yet Jaejoong can hear the guy’s cursing. ‘He must be so pissed off!’, Jaejoong took a step forward and he was about to tap the man’s shoulder, “he-hey there.?” Jaejoong mutters as he was afraid the guy will be more furious.
“Mind your-“, his sentence is cut short when he spun around and saw Jaejoong.
“YOU!” both men exclaimed.
Jaejoong really forget that the guy in front of him is Yunho based on his clothes. Guess that after all the grinding and the tequila has taken it's toll on him and Yunho just slip out of his mind. He almost gawked at the sight in front of him. He didn’t know why but he still stands in front of the man. Maybe, just maybe, he’s hoping the man to admit he’s wrong for accusing him of stealing the iPod.
After a pregnant silent, Yunho mutters “Hey…”, and look straight into Jaejoong’s eyes. He was about to continue his sentence, stopped abruptly as he saw Jaejoong walks away with a furious expression.
Sighing deeply, ‘I guess he’s still mad at me..’, Yunho mutters inside his head.
Jaejoong who is still bitter about the incident earlier that week, became more furious because he feels that not all things can be mend with a simple sorry. He walks away from Yunho in the opposite direction without a second glance at the guy and stomped off angrily. He heard Yunho yells ‘Hey.. You, Stop!!’ but he didn’t even bother to turn around.
Yunho run after him and tries to grab his arm but, Jaejoong snap back his arm when Yunho’s hand came into contact with his skin.
“Please…”, Yunho said sadly and he pleded Jaejoong to turn around. But Jaejoong just walked off.
Yunho who feels if he didn’t say the sorry words now, they’ll never be a chance after this.
“Hey.. Please.. Stop!!”, he pleaded.
The raging Jaejoong stopped on his tracks and he clenches his fist tightly until his knuckles turns white.
He turns around abruptly and curses his mind out.
“What the fuck do you want?! Humiliate me AGAIN?! Or you want to accuse me of stealing your hand phone this time?!”
“I --..”
“I should punch you when I have a chance.. Huh.. I should have left you with a black eye sooner!”
Yunho was still speechless seeing the raging Jaejoong. He was flaring with anger as his face reddens.
Seeing Yunho speechless and staring blankly at him, his patience grew thinner and he thought its better for him to walk away before he knocks the man in front of him out. Thank god the side of the ship is almost empty. People ignore them as they make their way inside the ship.
“Wait-“, Yunho didn’t get a chance to finish his sentence when a raging Jaejoong turns around Jaejoong just lost it. He punches Yunho square in the face and Yunho was thrown to the railing of the ship. And on the second blow (which even harder than the first one) Jaejoong accidently knocks him off the ship (because they’re standing near the railing and Yunho is a little tipsy)
“Ahhh!!!!!”, Yunho screamed as he fell into the ocean.
“Oh Shit!!!!!” Jaejoong cursed once he saw Yunho falls into the sea.
Jaejoong panicked and his mind is foggy from what’s happening, (he heard gasp and some yelling but he can’t think of anything) found a life buoy near him and he can’t think of anything but save the man.

A/N: This is based on the Philippine drama I’ve watched maybe in 2003 or 2004 and I so love that drama. I’m trying to make a simplified version of it.
Summary: Will a three - week cruise to The Caribbean change the relationship between two strangers from two definitely different backgrounds and will the ‘escape’ finds a new meaning to both them? Part 3
Inside Jaejoong’s suite, Changmin slept halfway through the sappy movie and Jaejoong went to his wardrobe to pull out the extra blanket to cover Changmin. When Jaejoong was about to cover Changmin and walks off, Changmin caught his wrist making Jaejoong jerked backwards towards Changmin.
Changmin murmured some incoherent words but his hand still holding Jaejoong’s wrist, Jaejoong decided to asks him whether he’s asleep or not.
When Jaejoong heard nothing for a moment, he thought Changmin was in his dreams and he slowly loosens the grip on his wrist.
When Jaejoong almost get off Changmin’s grip, Changmin tugged his wrist tighter. And murmured, “Jessie.. Stay~”
“Jessie?” Jaejoong raised an eye brow.
But all Jaejoong got was a harsh tug at his wrist making him fell on the couch.
Jaejoong is in shock and all he can think off is how to let go of the grip. Feeling that Changmin isn’t letting go any minute from now, Jaejoong decide to sleep on the couch too. Beside Changmin. ‘Well, I’ve done this with Yoochun before. Hope he didn’t kick me in the morning’
With that, both men fell asleep besides each other with Changmin muttering “Jessie… I love you~” into Jaejoong’s ears just before he tightens his hug on Jaejoong’s waist and Jaejoong who was about to drift off to lala land, flinched at the contact. But he soon calms down when he heard Changmin’s soft snore.
Changmin wakes up first and he realize he’s not in his room and there’s a lump of hair in front of his chest.
“Where am I?” Changmin said groggily and suddenly he remembered last night. How he slept halfway through the movie and the lump in front of him now is the owner of the suite; Jaejoong. When he finished registering the information, Jaejoong shuffle a bit but he didn’t wake up. Changmin nudged his arms softly and Jaejoong groggily answered; “Don’t bother me, Chunnie-ah! I don’t have work today!”
Chuckling at Jaejoong’s answer, Changmin poke his cheeks and Jaejoong scrunched up facial came to view as he answered “Aish!! Let me sleep!” rather annoyed.
Changmin calls his name and nudged him a bit harder this time and this time Jaejoong open his eyes.
“Uhhhh!~~ How come I sleep here?!” Jaejoong looks around the room and find that he’s in the living room couch and suddenly, he felt a nudge at his back.
“Jaejoong-ah~” came Changmin’s reply. Barely a whisper behind Jaejoong’s ear.
Jaejoong sits up straight as he realize Changmin is at his back.
“Oh.. Sorry Changmin-ah~” Jaejoong looked at Changmin apologetically and Changmin smile at him.
“No… I’m sorry Jaejoong-ah.. I shouldn’t sleep halfway through the movie.. Hehehe~” Changmin said embarrassed at his own action.
“No problem Changmin~ But… Can I ask you one thing though? You’ve been saying it constantly last night..”, Jaejoong looked at Changmin with a confused look in his expression.
“I-I did?”
“Yeah~ but you can choose not to answer it though.. I won’t force you..”
“Okay~ So, what is it?”
“Who’s Jessie??”
Changmin stood there, frozen and after a pregnant silent, Changmin looked at Jaejoong and sighed.
“Jessie is my ex.. She-she passed away last year…”
“I-I’m so sorry..“ Jaejoong scooted closer and clasped Changmin’s hands in his.
“Well.. Don’t be..” Changmin said bitterly.
“She cheated on me and she slept with my so-called best friend instead.. The night she died, my best friend said to her to stop the ‘affair’ and she can’t accept because she said she love my best friend more than she love me. She loves me because of my money. I showered her with things she wants and also my love. But she didn’t see that how much I love her.” Changmin’s eyes started to glistened with tears as he reminisce about the past.
“My best friend wants to come clean to me and stop the affair he had with Jessie considering how deeply in love I am with her. But Jessie.. she - she can’t accept the fact that my best friend wants to stop it and she.. she’s supposed to come back home, to me.. but.. she drove at full speed in a thunderstorm and… she collided head on with a truck… she - she was confirmed dead on scene… It’s too late…” Changmin sighed deeply and Jaejoong holds his hands tighter.
“Changmin-ah.. I’m sorry for making you remember all this…” Jaejoong squeeze Changmin’s hands and smile apologetically at him.
“Never mind, Jaejoong-ah~ I did have my happy times with her though~” Changmin smiled as a reassurance.
A warm smile makes its way to Jaejoong’s face as he saw Changmin’s reassuring smile.“Good to hear, Changmin-ah~”, Jaejoong knows how hard it is to forget such a grueling experience of losing your loved ones. Been there, done that. Jaejoong lose 2 of his most precious loved ones that night, four years ago.
Changmin said nothing for about a minute and then Jaejoong breaks the silence, “But now.. Let’s start our day happily!”
“That’s a good idea~ “, Changmin smiled slightly, “Which reminds me, the party is tonight right?”, the smile turns into a smirk almost instantly.
“Think so~ she whisper it to you~ not to me~ hahahaha~”
“Okay.. Okay~ enough with the teasing Jaejoong-ah~ so, tonight is the party but what are we gonna do today?”
“I’m thinking of a couple round of bowling~”
“That’s a good idea~ bowling it is then!” Changmin exclaimed excitedly and stands up from the couch.
Changmin makes his way to the front door, “Okay then~ what time we’ll gonna meet?”
“Around 12 maybe~”
“Great then~ let’s have brunch instead today~ okay?” Changmin said as he walks out of the suite followed by Jaejoong.
“Fine by me~ See you then~” Jaejoong waved at Changmin’s retreating back and heads back inside to get ready.
After getting ready for the day, Jaejoong got a text from Yoochun.

Jaejoong smiled at the last message Yoochun send. Jaejoong is known for his cleanliness. He loves to clean his house and cook during his past time. Yoochun and Junsu both love to have Jaejoong around as he helps with cleaning their apartment.
He put his hand phone aside as he gears up for the day. Bowling with Changmin. Then, a thought pop into Jaejoong’s mind, ‘Maybe we can have a competition then~’, and he grins happily. ‘Changmin seems like the competitive type~’, Jaejoong decided to wear a white Zara t-shirt and his faded blue jeans.
Tonight they have to attend a party and yet he can’t think of anything nice to wear. The club is hip alright. And Jaejoong supposedly doesn’t have any problem with it. He attends magazines launching and formal events regularly. But that’s formal. You can’t wear formal clothing to a party. Moreover, at a club. He needs something fresh, vibrant and spunky. He walks to his closet area and rummage his bag searching for something to wear.
Underneath all his clothing, he notices a black jeans and a nice gray Ralph Lauren button up shirt.
“Wow! This is nice!” he said as he picks up the clothes and stands in front of the closet mirror.
Jaejoong then get his hand phone and text a ‘Thanx Chunnie~ I really owe u!’ to Yoochun.
Smiling happily (after putting down the clothes), he make his way to his living room and he scanned the room for the stuffs he bought for Yoochun and Junsu the other day. He walks to the stuffs and he bought it back to the closet to be packed with his suitcase. (Incase he’ll forget it)
Jaejoong paced around the room and he went to the balcony to enjoy the view of the ocean. He then grabs his camera and snaps a few pictures. Smiling at his pictures, he walked back inside and looks at his watch. Almost time for brunch. Gotta go.
At the same time Jaejoong walks out of his suite, Yunho woke up. He had a headache and his wounded hand throbbed even harder, it turns painful. Muttering incoherent words groggily, he walks up of his bed and into the bathroom. He didn’t forget to take off his bandage first before walking in the shower. Taking a nice long shower makes his tensed muscles to relax and the throbbing pain in his head to subside.
Walking out of the bathroom with a bathrobe on, he toweled his wet hair and makes his way to the closet area. He chooses a grey t-shirt and his khaki Bermuda. Feeling all okay and happy, he decided to grab lunch downstairs.
Changmin’s and Jaejoong’s brunch went on fine as both men ate at the exclusive The Heat Restaurant besides the Coffee bean and Tea leaf café. The restaurant is owned by a young Italian chef, Gino D Ocampo. The cuisine there is exquisite. It tastes wonderful. Having a good laugh is good for your soul and both men enjoy the laugh and the cuisine side by side. Changmin treats Jaejoong for the lunch and when they was about to step out of the restaurant, another customer walks inside and the person bumped into Changmin’s shoulder.
Changmin was about to hiss at the person, looked up to see the person who bumped into him and his eyes widens at the sight in front of him. ‘It’s him again!’, he hissed inside his heart.
Jaejoong who stood a bit behind Changmin, stopped abruptly at the scene and his worst nightmare (in the form of Jung Yunho) is in front of his eyes, looking stunned. Jaejoong immediately feels uneasy and tries to pull Changmin out of the restaurant. Because people starting to stare at their awkward moment.
“Come on Min~ let’s go~”, Jaejoong tugged Changmin’s wrist and pulled him out of the restaurant without glancing back at the stunned Yunho.
Yunho’s sight follows Jaejoong’s and Changmin’s retreating back and only then he regains his composure. “He hates me that much nae? I guess I’m wrong though..”, sighing deeply, Yunho then shrugged his shoulders and walks into the restaurant.
Jaejoong grumbles as soon as they’re out of Yunho’s sight. Changmin was afraid to mess with a pissed off Jaejoong and he decided to keep quiet. But after a while, Changmin feels that Jaejoong really need to calm down. After much cooing, Jaejoong calmed down and they resume their day smoothly after that. They had a bowling competition between both of them and the loser will buy the beer tonight at the party. Changmin agreed happily to it. And, Jaejoong ends up the loser and he has to treat Changmin tonight.
Changmin yells ‘Yes! I win! Bring on the beer baby~’ and laugh whole heartedly at the chuckling Jaejoong. By the time they finished bowling, it’s already half past 5. Time pass by really fast when you’re having fun.
On the other side, Yunho is having a pretty bad day today. He woke up with a hangover, and he met the person who obviously hates him right now. It’s his own fault. Accusing that person of stealing and he has yet to apologize to the person personally. He feels bad for it but he still can’t find the strength within himself to just apologize to the pretty man himself. To add with that, he has a huge gash of wound on his hand. It hurts like hell!
After lunch, he went for some shopping and to occupy himself, he went to the gym and break out a sweat. He remembers that tonight is that girl’s party. By 7.30, he went back to his suite to get ready. Yunho grabs one of his crisp black shirts, paired with his Armani blazer and a pair of designer faded blue jeans from his closet and he puts it on his bed. He then went to take his bath and get him party-ready. At 8.45 p.m., he walks out to the club looking as if he just walks out of a magazine. He looks delicious.
Meanwhile, Jaejoong said they should get ready for the party after they finished their usual shot of caffeine. Jaejoong said he’ll meet Changmin at his room after he finished getting ready. By the time Jaejoong reaches his room, it’s already 6.15 p.m...
Jaejoong wears the black jeans and the grey Ralph Lauren button up shirt and he styles his hair with a special hairstyle tonight. By the time he finished getting ready, it’s already 7.45 p.m. Jaejoong then grabs his hand phone, wallet and watch with him to the club and he makes his way to Changmin’s room.
“WOW!”, that’s the only word Changmin said when he opens the door for Jaejoong. Changmin can’t keep his eyes off Jaejoong’s beautiful yet delicious handsome figure. Jaejoong looks stunning.
“What?!”
“You - you sure you're a photographer and not a model?”, Changmin said while eyeing the outfit.
“Huh..?? Hey! I’m NOT a model.. Come on.. This is my friend’s idea okay.. And it’s nice.. Love the shirt..”
“Yes! This look is definitely you! Really nice!”
“Thanks~ that’s what I said to him this morning. He said he had a surprise inside my bag~”
“That’s good of your friend.. Lemme guess.. it must be either Yoochun or Junsu right?”
“Haha~ You’re right! It’s Yoochun~”
“He has nice taste~”
“Yes he does~ okay.. Okay.. Enough mesmerizing me.. hahahaha~ come on.. Let’s go~~”
“Gimme a minute.. Come in first..”
The moment they walk towards the club, thunder resonates through the sky. It’s going to rain. But that didn’t stop the party.
Jaejoong walked inside the room and Changmin is standing in front of the mirror. Fixing his hair. Changmin does look like a model. He is tall, dark, handsome and witty. He’s definitely a ‘complete package’ guy. Any girl will definitely falls head over heels for him. And now with him all made up, Jaejoong bet he can score every girl in the club tonight.
“Okay~ Come on~”, Changmin’s voice wakes him up from his reverie.
Both men walk out of the suite and make their way into the club. Music blasting at full volume, people grinding dancing on the dance floor and couples making out is the sight which greeted them. A couple of heads turn their way towards them as they made their way inside. Girls whispering and guy’s is full of envy.
“Let’s find Cherise~”, Changmin has to shout because of the loud music.
Jaejoong notices Cherise’s friends on the private area of the club. She realizes Jaejoong and Changmin’s presence and she nudged Cherise’s arms and Cherise immediately turns her head around. Jaejoong also nudged Changmin’s arms to make him look at the girl’s direction.
“She’s there~”
“Yeah~ I saw her~ Come on~”, they make their way to the girls’ direction and Jaejoong saw how Changmin beamed happily once they’re there.
“Have a seat guys~”, Cherise said as she makes way for Jaejoong and Changmin. “What would you guys want?”, Cherise gestured for the bartender for some drinks.
“I’ll have a scotch~”, Changmin said. He isn’t the heavy drinker type of guy. Even though he has a high alcohol tolerance, he prefers to be sober enough by the end of the day.
“I’ll have a tequila~”, Jaejoong said and smirks at Changmin who eyed him tentatively.
“A strong start?”
“Yeah~ feels like it~”
While they wait for the drink to arrive, Cherise and her friends lingers around and strike up a conversation with Jaejoong and Changmin. Cherise, obviously has an eye for Changmin, seems to be very flirty with him and Jaejoong smiled inwardly at the sight. Cherise’s friends is actually quite nice. Most of them are in their sophomore year in college.
The drinks are served and Jaejoong asked for another shot. They talked for a while longer (some of them already on the dance floor, dancing with some random guys) and then he heard some girls squealing and he turns his head to the squealing girl’s direction and his eyes widens at the sight of a hot Yunho. He clenched his teeth as he saw how girls gawked over him and eyed him hungrily. Well, Jaejoong acknowledged that the guy has a well built body and handsome features but hey, he has the character of an evil witch! How dare he accuse him of doing such immoral thing! One of Cherise’s friends excused herself and walk up to Yunho while smiling seductively. ‘Oh no! She fell for him!’
Jaejoong mentally cursed as he saw Yunho beamed a smile at a girl on the bar. He then asks for another shot. Cherise invited Changmin to dance with her (and Changmin asked whether Jaejoong will be okay alone and Jaejoong said he’s not some girl and go ahead, have fun) even before Yunho’s arrival and Jaejoong just smiled at them. But his mood turns sour once he saw Yunho.
Yunho loves to be at parties. He can mingle and forget the harsh reality and just have fun. The moment he stepped inside the club, he can feel that all eyes on him. And he smirks seeing girls gawking at him and eyeing him angrily. He made his way to the bar and ordered himself a brandy.
Kimberly came up to him and mingled with him. Kimberly whisper ‘you came~ you looked hot~’ seductively in Yunho’s ears and Yunho can’t help but smirk at the girl. Yunho loves to entertain girls so he decided to buy a drink for the lovely lady. They chatted and flirted for a while and afterwards, he was led to the dance floor. People grinding their hips at him making him lost in the trance. He felt good.
After a while of dancing and grinding, he makes his way back to the bar and ordered another shot of brandy. Kimberly followed him and languidly rubs her body with Yunho. Yunho Jr. gets excited yet he tries to remain calm. He doesn’t wanna create trouble here. Yunho offered his drink to Kimberly and she dunked the drink in one go making her head light. She asked Yunho to dance with her but unexpectedly, he got a call from Donghae and because the music is too loud, he decided to take the call outside (in the open area) and he excused himself from her hold
Jaejoong had dunked his 4th shot of tequila and his inside feels burned. Girls approached Jaejoong and asking him to dance with them,and he immediately agreed to their invitation after seeing Yunho approaching the bar with Kimblerly clinging onto him. He feels a pang inside his heart whenever he saw girls gawking and flirt with Yunho. He also can't describe what exactly he felt seeing the scenes.
Thank god for his high alcohol tolerance, he didn’t even feel tipsy after 4 shots of tequila. He went to the dance floor and dance with the girls while he saw Changmin dancing sensually with Cherise. He smiled and resumes his dance with the girls. Girls grinding their bodies at Jaejoong and after a while of grinding dancing, he excused himself and makes his way to the bar (after he can't spot Yunho anywhere near the bar).
“Scotch please..”, he gestured the bartender.
“Coming right up~”
“Thanx~”, the smiled at the bartender and shoved a couple of bucks to him.
His watch already shows 11.15 p.m.. He can’t believe that all the grinding, dancing and talking actually took almost 2 hours of his time. Jaejoong notices that the club is situated near the open space (imagine the club is near to the pool area, the open area). He notices Changmin is too absorbed in his world to notice his surrounding. Jaejoong took his glass and walks to the open space. He eyed the area and walks to a quieter place. It was raining that night. The first rain storm since they went on the cruise.
Once he was outside, Yunho answered the call from his cousin and he walks off to the secluded part of the ship because of the loud music.
“Yoebosayo~”
“Hey man! How are you?!”
“Great~ you? Why you called? Any news?”
“That old man going to hold a press conference..”, Donghae told Yunho with a sad/upset kinda voice.
“He’ll what?!”, now it’s Yunho’s turn to be furious. That old geezer acts all caring when the fact that he is an old idiot who sleeps around with random girls.
Donghae told everything he knows to Yunho and Yunho is flaring by the end of the phone call. He clenched his phone tightly on his left hand and without warning, he smashed the glass he’s been holding on his right hand harshly on the floor. The glass shattered into a thousand pieces yet he still feels his blood raging and his inside boils.
On Jaejoong’s side, he walks out to the open air area with a content smile as he sips his scotch. There, he saw a man who is standing near the railing of the ship, clenching his phone and cursed loudly as if he was mad at it. ‘What is wrong with that guy?’, Jaejoong raised an eyebrow at the guy’s back. But what happens next shocked Jaejoong the most. The guy throws his glass on the floor and it shattered into a thousand pieces! ‘Damn this guy! He’ll hurt himself!’
People around them starting to walk away from the scene to avoid trouble from the raging man’s anger.
The storm is raging outside and yet Jaejoong can hear the guy’s cursing. ‘He must be so pissed off!’, Jaejoong took a step forward and he was about to tap the man’s shoulder, “he-hey there.?” Jaejoong mutters as he was afraid the guy will be more furious.
“Mind your-“, his sentence is cut short when he spun around and saw Jaejoong.
“YOU!” both men exclaimed.
Jaejoong really forget that the guy in front of him is Yunho based on his clothes. Guess that after all the grinding and the tequila has taken it's toll on him and Yunho just slip out of his mind. He almost gawked at the sight in front of him. He didn’t know why but he still stands in front of the man. Maybe, just maybe, he’s hoping the man to admit he’s wrong for accusing him of stealing the iPod.
After a pregnant silent, Yunho mutters “Hey…”, and look straight into Jaejoong’s eyes. He was about to continue his sentence, stopped abruptly as he saw Jaejoong walks away with a furious expression.
Sighing deeply, ‘I guess he’s still mad at me..’, Yunho mutters inside his head.
Jaejoong who is still bitter about the incident earlier that week, became more furious because he feels that not all things can be mend with a simple sorry. He walks away from Yunho in the opposite direction without a second glance at the guy and stomped off angrily. He heard Yunho yells ‘Hey.. You, Stop!!’ but he didn’t even bother to turn around.
Yunho run after him and tries to grab his arm but, Jaejoong snap back his arm when Yunho’s hand came into contact with his skin.
“Please…”, Yunho said sadly and he pleded Jaejoong to turn around. But Jaejoong just walked off.
Yunho who feels if he didn’t say the sorry words now, they’ll never be a chance after this.
“Hey.. Please.. Stop!!”, he pleaded.
The raging Jaejoong stopped on his tracks and he clenches his fist tightly until his knuckles turns white.
He turns around abruptly and curses his mind out.
“What the fuck do you want?! Humiliate me AGAIN?! Or you want to accuse me of stealing your hand phone this time?!”
“I --..”
“I should punch you when I have a chance.. Huh.. I should have left you with a black eye sooner!”
Yunho was still speechless seeing the raging Jaejoong. He was flaring with anger as his face reddens.
Seeing Yunho speechless and staring blankly at him, his patience grew thinner and he thought its better for him to walk away before he knocks the man in front of him out. Thank god the side of the ship is almost empty. People ignore them as they make their way inside the ship.
“Wait-“, Yunho didn’t get a chance to finish his sentence when a raging Jaejoong turns around Jaejoong just lost it. He punches Yunho square in the face and Yunho was thrown to the railing of the ship. And on the second blow (which even harder than the first one) Jaejoong accidently knocks him off the ship (because they’re standing near the railing and Yunho is a little tipsy)
“Ahhh!!!!!”, Yunho screamed as he fell into the ocean.
“Oh Shit!!!!!” Jaejoong cursed once he saw Yunho falls into the sea.
