I'm taking a poll...

We made a list here at work of everyone's first concert. It's hilarious.
So tell me...what was YOUR first concert?

EDIT:
Mine was NOT Motley Crue & Van Halen....I had forgotten that when I was about 11 I saw New Kids on the Block/Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch/Tiffany.

Perhaps I forgot about that on purpose!

Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, May 1987, with my mom.

Other concerts I went to with my mom:

- The Who (1989)
- David Bowie (1990)
- AC/DC (2000 - for her 59th birthday)

My mom taught me most of my classic rock knowledge as a pre-teen... (she was a DJ for a top-40 AM station in the late 70's).

EDIT: If you're counting NKOTB/etc, I'll count the shows I saw free at the County Fair as a young'un up north:

- Quarterflash (1984?)
- Ronnie Milsap (1985?)
- Three Dog Night (which I would enjoy *much* more now than I did in 1987...)

You and I went to that one together, you can't forget that concert! Ok, it was lame, but it was both of our first, and that was cool!

I actually went to shows at little clubs more than I went to concerts. My first concert was Punk Show '95, a festival deal at Glen Helen Blockbuster Pavilion, where there was a riot and the security guards beat the crap out of the lead singer of Guttermouth.
