"Welcome Home!"
I heard this quite a bit two weeks ago, as if my "home" is the Black Rock Desert. No, friend... my home is where my BED is. And where i have running water. And air conditioning. =)
Now, back safe 'n sound at home... strangely quiet around here, since my cat Kimiko died two weeks ago while i was gone. Glad to see the moisture has (finally) made an appearance in ATX.
In the end, the Fire of Fires Temple was amazing. Countless thanks to Dave & Marrilee for guiding this merry band of artmakers on this fantastic quest. You are both mad, and i love you for it! I think Natalie may have said it best when she said, "I would follow you guys anywhere!" Indeed!
I am "officially" setting the intention to have a full five weeks+ free "next time" - to join in the driving/caravan and so that i can be of more assistance in the ever-so-fun unloading/loading process. At least there's the "Welcome Home/Unloading Party" to look forward to...
'Work' got in the way this time around, but that too shall pass. ;)
