So we went with Meg to go apply for the loft and the guy renting it was an asshole.
Which is strange because he was nice the first time we met him.
But now he was very "aloof". Maybe it was because there were other people there and a STACK of applications for the place.
So I think the chances are STACKED against us.
But I'm not giving up hope yet.
(sigh)
At least I know wherever we go Meg will be a good roomate for us. We all walked around Wicker Park for a little bit today until I realized we weren't dressed warm enough for the weather. The sun makes it look so deceivingly warm. Not to mention I was bitter because we found sooo many records we wanted at Reckless, but alas, we do not have a record player. I think it's going to be one of my next purchases though.
We're waiting for Lisa and Laurel to get here for Saturday night festivities. I think we're going to have cocktails and watch Hedwig and the Angry Inch. This is probably the last time I'll get to hang out with Lisa before she goes to Europe. I'm going to miss her lots.
