I'm glad I can be perfectly content staying in drinking black chai tea in my pajamas while watching Fresh Prince with the sound off while Jonny reads me funny excerpts from David Sedaris' Santa Land Diaries.
I also never knew clean clothes could feel so good to wear. I was finally able to do some laundry while I was babysitting for my family downtown tonight. I really had a good time babysitting too, I got to eat home-made chicken pot pie and watch Aladdin with my two favorite children in the whole world. And I really don't like most kids. It's nice to have family ten minutes away. I'm supposed to babysit for them tomorrow night too. At least I'm making some money, because it's been a while. Now I'll have cash for the weekend's festivities. It's good that I stayed in tonight too because I want to save my energy for the next few nights, I want to have some Halloween fun and not be partied-out by Monday. I'm also glad that my life is so drama-free and full of really good friends that I care about.
My photo shoot went really well on Wednesday at my aunt's office. I still have to print everything by Tuesday night though. I'm so excited to see how they're going to turn out.
I'm stressed about a story I'm doing for the Chronicle... as always. School is a never-ending mountain of work to be done. But I suppose I do love it.
